When Deborah Wolfe was late for her shift as a nurse two days after Christmas in 1985, her boss and coworkers were immediately worried. Debbie had never been late. They contacted her mom when they were unable to get ahold of Debbie by phone. Debbie’s mom, step-dad, and a family friend went to Debbie’s house where they found the home in disarray and her dogs unfed. They contacted police who didn’t investigate until five days later.
Debbie’s body was found in a large metal barrel in the pond on her property. This barrel mysteriously disappeared shortly after and police denied that there had ever been a barrel at all. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning, but her family has always suspected foul play.
Come along with Hannah and her mom as they discuss cats, Halloween costumes, and Captain Jack Sparrow.

Lizzie Borden Took an Axe...Or Did She?
In August 1892, Lizzie Borden took an axe and killed her step-mother and father. Maybe. She was acquitted, but in the court of public opinion, she was guilty. The nursery rhyme “Lizzie Borden took an axe, gave her mother forty wacks…” had already started being sung by children in Fall River, MA, before her trial even began. Lizzie endured people gawking at and whispering about her for the rest of her life even though there was no solid evidence linking her to the crime. There wasn’t any solid evidence linking anyone else to the crime either.
It’s been 134 years since Andrew and Abby Borden were brutally murdered in their home in broad daylight, but this case is still talked about today because it is so baffling. Just when you think you’ve solved it, another piece of evidence comes up that changes your mind.
Come along with Hannah and Jessica as they discuss Scooby-Doo, ankles, and the Summer Sickies.

The Mothman. The Myth. The Legend.
In the 1960s, there were so many UFO sightings near Point Pleasant, West Virginia, that one reporter was assigned to cover only these claims. In November 1966, residents started reporting seeing a large muscular man with giant wings and glowing red eyes. This creature eventually became known as the Mothman. Many people believe the Mothman was an alien or was sent by the government to distract from all of the UFO and alien sightings. The Mothman is celebrated in Point Pleasant every year at the Mothman Festival which has become the largest festival in the entire state.
Come along with Hannah and Bob as they discuss chocolate, the Mothman’s good looks, and bridges vs helicopters.
