SportsDay Insiders Kevin Sherrington, Evan Grant and David Moore discuss [3:20] the Cowboys’ draft prospects, including the fact that they could go several ways and still come away with a starter. [28:30] Evan analyzes the lineup changes made by Bruce Bochy in an attempt to shake them from their funk. [44:00] Kevin says it’s a good thing Nico Harrison isn’t the Rangers’ GM, because he’d probably try to trade Corey Seager after yet another hamstring injury. Nico’s second press conference in a week didn’t do anything to rectify the mess the Mavs have made this year, but it’s getting clearer that he’s a my-way-or-the-highway kind of executive who could soon find himself down the road. SportsDay Insiders Kevin Sherrington, Evan Grant and David Moore discuss [1:04] a full week of sports topics, starting with the Wings drafting Paige Bueckers with the No. 1 pick. [4:20] The guys don’t give the Mavs much of a shot against the Kings and try to decipher what Nico Harrison will do next, as well as what Patrick Dumont would do next if he fired Nico. (Hint: Not happening). [17:15] Evan says it’s too early to panic about the Rangers’ offense and, besides, there are no easy fixes. [29:00] David tells us what it means that Micah Parsons has finally shown up for voluntary workouts and how Jerry Jones has changed in his approach. [40:10] Kevin and David discuss what makes the most sense for the Cowboys in the first round, and the guys recall a fun finish at the Masters. Learn more about your ad choices. SportsDay Insiders Kevin Sherrington, Evan Grant and David Moore discuss a busy week highlighted [00:39] by Luka Doncic’s return Wednesday with his new Laker teammates. David says Luka might be overwhelmed but still sets the over/under at 34 points. Kevin takes the over. Evan takes the way over. [18:25] Evan says Chicago’s cold probably had an impact on the Rangers and suggests a line of demarcation from MLB when it comes to weather. [31:22] The Cowboys’ acquisition of Joe Milton III probably keeps them from drafting another QB, David says, adding he wouldn’t be surprised to see them trade back a few spots. [45:15] And Kevin despairs over another bad ending for Houston, this one even worse than ‘83. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
