The NFL Draft is over and so is the Sportzball season :(((
Why does everything have to come to an end?? The NFL season, bottles of wine, TV shows, and this Sportzball season. Sportzballers, how can the crew thank you enough?? Well Des and Drew will certainly try but first they have to give their takes on the 2026 NFL Draft. After Drew goes over the Dolphin’s 3,004 draft picks and Des addresses the 3 Broncos picks (both those numbers are an exaggeration, sort of) the crew dives into all the draft news including Fernando Mendoza, Ty Simpson, Uar Bernard, and all the other tear jerkers and surprises.
BUT THEN, to bring this season to close, Des and Drew look back at all the amazing moments from the NFL season, the Broncos and Dolphins seasons, and the Sportzball season as a whole. They tear open the mailbag and answer all your pressing questions and try to give you a little taste on what season 2 looks like… once Des and Drew figure out what it’ll look like.

The Penner Sports Group buys in on the Colorado Rockies and is De’Von Achane leaving the Dolphins too??
What a time to be alive this offseason Sportzballers! There is SO much to talk about in the NFL…which is why the crew spent the majority of this episode talking about baseball ownership contracts. With the offseason in full swing, Des and Drew get into everything from The Penner Sports Group purchasing a 40% stake in the Colorado Rockies, to the Dolphins possibly parting ways with De’Von Achane, and Drew is dying to tell us an update on what Paxton Lynch is up to.
The crew also gets into the Seattle Seahawks being up for sale, the Dianni Russini and Mike Vrable controversy and who the hell is Kirk Cousins' agent and PR team and how does he keep getting away with this??
Lastly they discuss how the NFL Draft works and who their eyes are on for the first pick for their team in the NFL Draft. And to no one’s surprise, it’s going to be wrong.

Des has a mortal enemy (again) and is this the very last time Drew talks about Tua?
After the insanity of our last episode with the Jaylen Waddle trade, this week is gonna be a chill one, right? WRONG! We’re bringing you all the drama with the MLB season, Project Hail Mary, and the Summer House Bravo Drama! Wait, we're an NFL podcast right? Oh yeah don’t worry that’s all just in the first thirty minutes.
Drew has thoughts on Tua throwing shade on his former team and makes a big announcement about his former QB. Drew also wants everyone to stop saying the Dolphins are tanking and just acknowledge they’re doing the best they can. Des is fired up cause the Broncos actually signed someone in free agency and even gets even more fired up at Draft Kings and admits to crimes live on air. Plus Drew is over Cam Skattebo and NFL Games on Wednesday, Des only agrees with one of those takes, and the crew tries to teach you all more things about the NFL and they’re feeling pretty damn confident about this one.
