When God Makes All Things New | Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast | Week 7
What if the end of Revelation isn't something to fear, but something to look forward to?
In the final episode of the Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast, Pastor Jason Smith is joined by Manny David and new on the podcast, Brandon Muchow to explore the breathtaking conclusion of Revelation and God's promise to make all things new.
Together, they unpack Revelation 20–22, discussing the thousand-year reign of Christ, the final defeat of evil and death, the resurrection of the body, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth. Along the way, they explore what Scripture reveals about eternity, the restoration of creation, and how the hope of resurrection transforms the way we experience life, suffering, and relationships today.
From the New Jerusalem to the river and tree of life, this conversation reminds us that Revelation ultimately points us toward Jesus, His victory, and the incredible future God has prepared for His people.
As we conclude this companion podcast, we're left with a powerful reminder: the story doesn't end with fear, suffering, or death. It ends with Jesus making all things new.
Thank you for joining us throughout this journey through Revelation and the Do Not Be Afraid series.

The Last Time You'll Ever Cry | Do Not Be Afraid | Week 7
As we conclude our Do Not Be Afraid series, Pastor Jason Smith takes us to the final chapters of Revelation, where the end of the story becomes a beautiful new beginning.
In Revelation 21–22, we encounter one of Scripture's greatest promises: God is making all things new. A new heaven and a new earth await, where suffering, death, mourning, and pain will be no more. Every tear will be wiped away, the curse of sin will be gone, and God's people will experience His presence in a way we've never known before.
But what will this new creation actually be like? Jason explores what will be absent from eternity and what will remain: the beauty of God's restored creation, meaningful relationships, joyful reunions, creativity, purpose, and an everlasting life overflowing with His goodness. Heaven isn't simply an escape from this world—it's the restoration of everything God intended creation to be.
And at the center of it all is Jesus. The One who gave His life to rescue us invites us into this incredible future, offering the gift of eternal life to everyone who places their trust in Him.
The end of Revelation isn't really an ending. It's the beginning of a life beyond anything we could imagine—a future where God makes everything new, and where one day, we'll cry for the very last time.

The Beast, Babylon, and the Kingdom of God | Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast | Week 6
What do the beast, the mark of the beast, and Babylon reveal about the world we live in today?
In this week's Do Not Be Afraid Companion Podcast, Pastor Jason Smith, Shannon Coon, and Manny David explore Revelation 13–19, unpacking the powerful imagery of the beast, the false prophet, and Babylon through the historical context of the Roman Empire.
Together, they discuss how Revelation exposes the dangers of misplaced allegiance, the seductive power of empire, and the ways earthly kingdoms can imitate and distort the things of God. Rather than encouraging fear or speculation about the end times, Revelation calls followers of Jesus to wisdom, discernment, and faithful endurance.
What does it mean to resist the values of Babylon while living in the world? How do we recognize when political or cultural loyalties begin to compete with our allegiance to Christ? And how does the ultimate victory of Jesus shape the way we live today?
Join the conversation as we discover that Revelation is not simply about the fall of earthly kingdoms, but about the hope, faithfulness, and victory found in the Kingdom of God.
