Republicans turn on Trump after devastating election losses

Politics, military, and world events — explained clearly, without the outrage. Join Marine veteran, journalist, and author Stan R. Mitchell for independent analysis and honest conversation about the stories shaping our world. Each episode closes with a few minutes of Biblical encouragement — because faith and perspective matter, too. Learn more about the show (https://stanrmitchell.substack.com). 👉 Listen on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, or your favorite podcast app. Podcast hub — all platforms (https://stanrmitchell.com/podcast-the-view-from-the-front/) Republicans are reeling after a devastating midterm election, and the finger-pointing has already begun. From Mitt Romney and Ron DeSantis to conservative commentators and Republican strategists, the criticism of President Trump is growing louder. What went wrong, and where does the Republican Party go from here? I break down the election results, the growing revolt within the GOP, and why Trump’s response to the losses raises even more questions about his leadership. Then we turn to the war with Iran, where new American strikes, mounting military losses, and disagreements inside the White House raise a troubling question: Is another major escalation coming, or is Washington looking for a way out? We also examine the latest developments in Ukraine, including heavy Russian casualties, Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, and the continuing devastation of the war. Finally, we close with a powerful reminder from Joshua 1 about courage, standing firm, and trusting God in uncertain times. Independent analysis of politics, military affairs, and world events — without the outrage. ⏱️ Timestamps / main stories covered: * 0:56 — The post-election fight in the GOP has already begun * 28:32 — Iran * 34:30 — Ukraine * 40:21 — Afghan vets and Pete Hegseth * 45:32 — Faith & Encouragement * 50:13 — About the Show and My Mission If this episode was helpful, please share it with someone who would benefit — and consider leaving a rating on Apple or Spotify. Trump Turns Toward Putin, Elon Faces Questions, and Republicans Brace for the Midterms

Politics, military, and world events — explained clearly, without the outrage. Join Marine veteran, journalist, and author Stan R. Each episode closes with a story of courage and a few minutes of Biblical encouragement — because faith and perspective matter, too. We’ll also look at signs that the Iran war could be expanding, with Egypt and Britain becoming more involved in the region. And with the midterm elections approaching, Republicans are facing increasingly difficult political terrain — while Trump’s latest comments are raising eyebrows. Plus, this week’s Story of Courage remembers Clara Barton, the remarkable woman who risked her life helping wounded Civil War soldiers before founding the American Red Cross. And in Faith & Encouragement, we’ll talk about spiritual complacency, the importance of Christian community, and why none of us should try to navigate life’s challenges alone.
