[…] And I really enjoyed that. I felt like I got to know her better and I knew her motivation a lot more understandably than I did whenever I watched the 1995 anime. So to me... It definitely did some things worse than the anime, and it was definitely not as clever and as smart as the anime, but I like a good movie that can dumb itself down for me and say like, here you go, Stu, here's the meat and potatoes of this story.
