[…] And so that's when it brings that up again. It wasn't just them that was upset. It was my entire family in India. And people still ask me if I would ever change my mind about not being a doctor. And I'm what four years out of grad school like that ship has long sailed for me and it's a really weird thing to tell my American friends that my parents think I'm kind of like failing because like I'm doing pretty well by American standards I have a pretty good job like most American families like you're on track so it is really tough because I would hope they're proud of me but I don't know and I have a lot of guilt because they they did sacrifice a lot for me But they chose America, and America's whole motto is to follow your own path, be your own person.
