So as the dailies would play back, the timer would know what lights he used on the film. And then the DP would say, I want this lesser point magenta, this more cyan, this more yellow because it was a cym process not rgb so they would do this thing where they would sit there and that's where the first part of color correction would happen during day one and that's why it was called color timing because it was a guy timing the exposure timing the exposure of the print by shining light through the negative how did he how was he able to then make micro adjustments on the CYN scale that you're talking about?
