کیانوش عیاری در فیلم «کاناپه» که در سال ۱۳۹۵ ساخته شد، برای عبور از سد سانسور موی زنان در سینما، کلاهگیس بر سر بازیگران فلیمش گذاشت. ترفندی برای طبیعی جلوه دادن آنچه در واقعیت در خانه ایرانیان اتفاق میافتد. این فیلم اما نتوانست مجوز نمایش بگیرد و برای همیشه توقیف شد. مهدی طاهباز در این اپیزود از پادکست «سینما سانسور» به حواشی و ماجرای تولید و توقیف فیلم «کاناپه» پرداخته است.

فریبرز کامکاری نویسنده و کارگردان فیلم سینمایی «فصل ممنوعه» در این اپیزود از پادکست سینما سانسور در گفتوگو با مهدی طاهباز به ماجراهای ساخته شدن این فیلم و حواشی آن پرداخته است. این کارگردان از تهدیدهایی گفته که پس از پایان فیلمبرداری متوجهاش شد و او را مجبور کرد راهی برای خارج کردن نگاتیوهای فیلم از ایران پیدا کند. بعد هم برای همیشه وطنش را ترک کرد و به ایتالیا رفت. کشوری که در نوجوانی بهطور اتفاقی، با سینمایش آشنا و شیفته فیلمهایش شده بود.

«فصل ممنوعه» به کارگردانی فریبرز کامکاری، سال ۱۳۸۲ در ایران کلید خورد. فیلمی درباره قتلهای سریالی زنان در مشهد و با نگاهی به پرونده سعید حنایی، معروف به «قاتل عنکبوتی» . این فیلم به دلیل مضمونی ملتهب و پرداختن به موضوع صدرو فرمان قتل از سوی فرقههای تندروی مذهبی، هیچگاه در ایران به نمایش درنیامد. مهدی طاهباز در این قسمت از پادکست «سینما سانسور»، به حواشی و ماجراهای «فصل ممنوعه» پرداخته است.
