Emmitt Terrell, the founder of Level Six Training, joins the Tar Life Podcast with co-hosts Melody Tate and Jennifer Stewart to discuss his business.
Level Six Training offers services, including hit training classes, Small Group Training, and custom-tailored programs.
The Weekly Lineup program structures each week's training for different aspects of health and fitness, including strength, cardiovascular exercise, metabolic conditioning, and weightlifting.
The hit training classes can be 45 minutes or incorporated into other courses, depending on the day's focus.
For beginners, Terrell recommends starting with two or three 45-minute classes per week and gradually increasing.
Recovery from exercise depends on oxygenated red blood flow, so activities like a sauna or cold exposure can help.

Ratfish liver oil is a good source of Omega-3, and 180 milligrams of melatonin in the evening is anti-cancer.

Second Homes Stories & a Storybook Trip to Ireland
We talk about our five day trip to Ireland with where we stayed in a castle. We talked about what we were expecting and our favorite parts of the trip. We talk about Melody's round house property that she renovated completely and Erica's house in the mountains on Lake James, and property on the beach. A lot of people in the Triangle already own or dream of owning a beach or mountain house. We get into the nitty gritty about the ins and outs of mountain and beach second homes in North Carolina.
We dealt with foundation issues, pink 1970s bathrooms, 1980s panels, topping trees for an ideal view, carpet in the bathrooms, extreme weather because of elevation, the challenges of renovating a property that is hours from your main residence, finding local contractors, metal roofs, and more.
It's so important to find trusted vendors which can be challenging when the property is so far away from your network. The home inspector on Erica's beach house wrote "Home may fall down" on the inspection. That was a first! We also talk about dealing with what beach front homeowners in North Carolina call the CAMA Police. We also discuss some tips for turning your mountain or beach house into a profitable short-term rental.
