Penjelasan firman Allah:<br /> <br /> وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَراءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ (187)<br /> <br /> Dan (ingatlah) ketika Allah mengambil janji dari orang-orang yang telah diberi kitab (yaitu), "Hendaklah kalian menerangkan isi kitab itu kepada manusia, dan janganlah kalian menyembunyikannya," lalu mereka melemparkan janji itu ke belakang punggung mereka dan mereka menukarnya dengan harta yang sedikit. Amatlah buruknya tukaran yang mereka terima. <br /> <br /> لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِما أَتَوْا وَيُحِبُّونَ أَنْ يُحْمَدُوا بِما لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا فَلا تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفازَةٍ مِنَ الْعَذابِ وَلَهُمْ عَذابٌ أَلِيمٌ (188)<br /> <br /> Janganlah sekali-kali kamu menyangka bahwa orang-orang yang gembira dengan apa yang telah mereka kerjakan dan mereka suka supaya dipuji terhadap perbuatan yang belum mereka kerjakan, janganlah kamu menyangka bahwa mereka terlepas dari siksa, dan bagi mereka siksa yang pedih.<br /> <br /> وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّماواتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (189)<br /> <br /> Kepunyaan Allah-lah kerajaan langit dan bumi; dan Allah Mahakuasa atas segala sesuatu.

Penjelasan firman Allah:<br /> <br /> كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّما تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيامَةِ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فازَ وَمَا الْحَياةُ الدُّنْيا إِلاَّ مَتاعُ الْغُرُورِ (185)<br /> <br /> Tiap-tiap yang berjiwa akan merasakan mati. Dan sesungguhnya pada hari kiamat sajalah disempurnakan pahala kalian. Barang siapa dijauhkan dari neraka dan dimasukkan ke dalam surga, maka sungguh ia telah beruntung. Kehidupan dunia itu tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang memperdayakan. <br /> <br /> لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِي أَمْوالِكُمْ وَأَنْفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا أَذىً كَثِيراً وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَإِنَّ ذلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ (186)<br /> <br /> Kalian sungguh-sungguh akan diuji terhadap harta kalian dan diri kalian. Dan (juga) kalian sungguh-sungguh akan mendengar dari orang-orang yang diberi kitab sebelum kalian dan dari orang-orang yang mempersekutukan Allah, gangguan yang banyak yang menyakitkan hati. Jika kalian bersabar dan bertakwa, maka sesungguhnya yang demikian itu termasuk urusan yang patut diutamakan.
