Shortly after signing a contract with a mid-sized company, I received the news that the company was being taken over by an American corporation. Along with the uncertainty came many changes, such as accounting practices, financial reporting, and how to interact with Americans.
Today, I know that this moment of uncertainty was a pivotal point in my life. It marked the beginning of my journey to becoming an expert in everything that follows a takeover by an American company.
