I love nature but I am not an artist that look at the mountains and melodies come flying into my head. I am inspired by my work and by people, but I think there is something in the landscape that gives me, since I grew up here, some sort of calmness and enables me to make better art and music. But I don’t think this is special for this place, there are a lot of places in the world that are beautiful, and people will experience the same calmness wherever they are from and it will give them strength and inspiration to make better art and music. Wherever you are from is your inspiration, and it is beautiful for you in its own way.” Benjamin Mørk

.
Hosted by HarrisonParrott’s Karoline Melstveit.

Audio edited by Merlyn Thomas and theme music composed by Robert Cochrane

You draw a horse the way you think a horse is like. And then at some point, maybe when you are about eight or nine years old, you start drawing horses the way the other kids are drawing horses. You stop trusting your own view upon the world, and I think it is important to try to find back to that and trust that your personal view of the world is what the world actually needs, and what other people needs to see. We need to see the different views on life and on our society.” Elle Sofe Sara

.

Hosted by HarrisonParrott’s Karoline Melstveit.

Audio edited by Merlyn Thomas and theme music composed by Robert Cochrane
