The Dinner Party: Part 2
Season 1, Episode 10 — The Dinner Party: Part 2 The audio recovered. The dinner party did not. In Part 2, we finish the night with red-wine-braised short ribs over creamy mashed potatoes alongside a 1995 Château Clerc Milon, followed by brown butter croissant bread pudding and a 1994 Dolce Late Harvest. By this point, the wine had been flowing, the conversations were overlapping, and the dinner party had officially gone a little off the rails—in the best possible way. It is loose, loud, occasionally unhinged, and exactly what a great night around the table is supposed to feel like. There is a lot happening, but beneath the chaos is one of our favorite conversations of the season. Watch closely, listen carefully, and keep hunting. A few hidden details may be worth more than bragging rights. This is also the finale of our first season, and we cannot thank everyone enough who watched, listened, shared, commented, or simply made it this far with us. Season 1 has been a learning experience, a passion project, and a lot of fun—and we are incredibly grateful that you came along for it.

The Dinner Party: Part 1
Season 1, Episode 9: The Dinner Party — Part 1 The audio may not be perfect, but the night was too good not to share. For the first half of our season finale, we invited a few guests over, opened some special bottles, and let the evening unfold naturally. There are overlapping conversations, people talking across the table, missed camera angles, plenty of laughter, and very little concern for putting on a show. This was not a formal tasting. It was simply a dinner party with people we enjoy, food we were excited to serve, and wine worth talking about. We began with Marky’s Kaluga Hybrid caviar, truffle potato chips, and crème fraîche alongside NV Le Mesnil Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs and 2020 Joh. Jos. Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese Goldkapsel. The second course paired brown-butter truffle pasta with 2010 Faiveley Meursault Charmes Premier Cru. We do not expect everyone to catch every conversation, but those who stay with us may notice a few things tucked quietly into the evening. Pay attention. There may be a surprise waiting for anyone who can tell us what they found after both parts are done. This is The Dinner Party: Part 1—unpolished, unscripted, and exactly how the night felt.

The Bottles We Save
Episode 8 — The Bottles We Save Some bottles are too meaningful to open on an ordinary night—or at least, that’s what we tell ourselves. For this episode, we turned off the cameras, stepped away from the usual setup, and settled in on the patio and the couch for a quieter conversation about the bottles we hold onto and the stories attached to them. We talk about nostalgia, milestones, the people we hope to share them with, and the strange pressure that comes with waiting for the “perfect” occasion. This one is intentionally audio-only: no production, no presentation, and no distractions. Just an honest conversation between friends before the season shifts into something much bigger. Good wine. Real stories. And the bottles that mean more than what’s inside them.

Overlooked Whites
Overlooked Whites | Viognier, Dry Tokaji & Grand Cru Alsace Everyone talks about Chardonnay, but some of the world's most fascinating white wines come from grapes and regions that many wine lovers have never explored. In this episode of Talk Sip Time, we uncork three unique bottles that showcase the incredible diversity of white wine: 🍷 K Vintners Viognier – Washington State 🍷 Királyudvar Tokaji Furmint Sec – Hungary 🍷 Pierre Sparr Mambourg Grand Cru – Alsace, France Along the way, we discuss: • Why these wines are so often overlooked • The history and terroir behind each region • How dry Furmint differs from the sweet Tokaji most people know • Why Alsace Grand Cru wines can offer remarkable value • Why some of the greatest white wines in the world aren't Chardonnay Whether you're looking to expand your palate or searching for your next favorite bottle, this episode is a reminder that some of wine's biggest surprises come from the roads less traveled.

Sweet Wines 101: Three Ways Nature Makes Wine Sweet
Sweet Wine 101: Three Ways Nature Makes Wine Sweet Sweet wine often gets overlooked, but some of the world's most fascinating bottles come from this category. In this episode, we explored three very different expressions of sweetness: 🍯 2020 Petit Guiraud Sauternes 🍇 2017 Dolce Late Harvest Napa Valley 🔥 1983 Thunevin-Calvet Maury Along the way, we discussed botrytis ("noble rot"), late-harvest winemaking, and fortified wines, breaking down how producers preserve natural sugar and create some of the most complex wines in the world. While these styles may not be everyday pours, they represent centuries of tradition and craftsmanship—and chances are many wine lovers have never experienced them. Not every episode is about chasing legendary bottles. Sometimes it's about discovering corners of the wine world you never knew existed. Talk Sip Time — because there's always something new in the glass.

A Tale of Terroir | Bear Track vs. John C. Sullenger
How much can a vineyard change a wine when everything else stays the same? In Episode 5 of Talk Sip Time, we put that question to the test with a true horizontal tasting of two 2022 Nickel & Nickel single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons: Bear Track Vineyard and John C. Sullenger Vineyard. Both wines come from the same producer, the same vintage, and the same winemaking philosophy—yet they delivered two completely different expressions in the glass. We explored how terroir, vineyard location, elevation, soils, and microclimate shape a wine's personality, and why single-vineyard bottlings offer one of the purest ways to experience those differences. We also dove into the challenges of the 2022 Napa Valley growing season, discussing how heat events and difficult vintage conditions impacted growers across the valley and how top producers adapted. To help tame the youthful tannins and concentrated fruit, we paired the wines with grilled ribeye steaks and twice-baked potatoes—a classic combination that proved once again why Cabernet and beef remain one of wine's greatest partnerships. Unfortunately, technology had other plans. We lost the camera with about five minutes left in the episode, but the conversation kept rolling, so you'll get a photo finish instead of a video finish. Pour a glass and join us as we explore why place matters, why vintage matters, and why two wines that seem nearly identical on paper can tell completely different stories in the glass. Wines Featured: • 2022 Nickel & Nickel Bear Track Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon • 2022 Nickel & Nickel John C. Sullenger Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Food Pairing: • Grilled Ribeye Steak • Twice-Baked Potato Topics Covered: • What terroir really means • The importance of single-vineyard wines • Napa Valley's challenging 2022 vintage • How vineyard sites influence flavor, structure, and ageability • Pairing young Cabernet Sauvignon with food Because great wine is more than a grape—it's a place. 🍷🎙️

Beyond Butter: The Many Faces of Chardonnay
Think Chardonnay is just buttery California white wine? Think again. This week on Talk Sip Time, we're putting one of the world's most misunderstood grapes under the microscope with three bottles that couldn't be more different. We start with the energy and precision of Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs, move into the mineral-driven character of a 2023 Saint-Romain Combe Bazin from Burgundy, and finish with the rich, age-worthy depth of the 2015 Cakebread Chardonnay Reserve. Same grape. Three regions. Three philosophies. Three completely different experiences. Along the way, we dive into how climate, terroir, oak, age, and winemaking decisions shape Chardonnay into everything from razor-sharp and refreshing to rich, textured, and complex. To put the wines to the test, Kay paired the lineup with homemade Louisiana crab cakes and lemon aioli made from the leftovers of a weekend crab boil—a pairing that proved great Chardonnay can be just as versatile at the table as it is in the glass. Whether you're a devoted Burgundy drinker, a California Chardonnay fan, or someone who normally skips Chardonnay altogether, this episode might make you take a second look. Featured Wines Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs 2023 Saint-Romain Combe Bazin 2015 Cakebread Cellars Chardonnay Reserve Food Pairing Homemade Louisiana Crab Cakes with Lemon Aioli One grape. Three wines. Three completely different stories.

Napa vs. Bordeaux: Power, Place, and Perspective
This week on Talk Sip Time, we sit down for one of the biggest conversations in wine: Napa vs Bordeaux. But this episode isn’t really a battle. It’s a discussion about style, philosophy, price, aging, and why our own palates have slowly started drifting toward Bordeaux while still appreciating what makes Napa special. For the side-by-side tasting, we compare: Château Peyrabon 2006 Faust Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 Two bottles at similar price points — but with completely different personalities. One leans structured, earthy, and old-world. The other brings the ripe fruit and bold style Napa is known for. It sparked a bigger conversation about what we look for in wine now versus when we first got into it. We also pull out a few serious bottles to show the contrast at the higher end of each region, including: Cakebread Cellars Dancing Bear Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 Château Montrose 1986 Along the way, we get into: Fruit profile & structure Oak influence Aging potential Value for the money Why Bordeaux has been pulling us in lately And why Napa still deserves its respect This episode turned into less of a competition and more of an honest wine conversation between friends. Good wine. Better conversation. Talk Sip Time — R&R x No Label Wine Co.

Spring Wines & Summer Vibes
Episode 2 of Talk Sip Time is all about the wines we keep reaching for when the weather gets warmer, the playlists get louder, and the conversations last longer than planned. Beach trips, patio hangs, balcony dinners, porch pours — these are the bottles we’d actually bring with us. This week we opened three completely different wines that somehow all scream spring and summer in their own way: 🍋 2024 Round Pond “Jannine Bovet” Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Crisp, bright, layered, and dangerously easy to drink. We paired it with a crostini topped with brie, apple, prosciutto, and hot honey — salty, creamy, sweet, crunchy… exactly what this wine wants beside it. 🌸 Château La Pommeraie Bordeaux Rosé Fresh fruit, structure, and enough depth to keep it from feeling like “just another rosé.” Paired with goat cheese, fig preserve, prosciutto, basil, and balsamic crostini. One of those combinations where the food and wine completely change each other for the better. 🍒 Tradizione Zanasi Lambrusco Grasparossa Cold, fizzy, dark-fruited, and wildly underrated. Lambrusco deserves way more respect than it gets. We paired it with parmigiano-reggiano bruschetta and honestly… this might’ve been the sleeper hit of the episode. We also talk about what actually makes a “beach wine,” why summer wines don’t have to be boring or simple, and the difference between wines that impress people versus wines you genuinely want to drink again. And for the first time — this episode has full video. Good wine doesn’t have to be overly serious. Sometimes the best bottles are the ones opened outside with good food, good weather, and people you actually want to spend time with. 🎙️ Talk Sip Time Episode 2 — available now.

The Bottles That Define Us
Welcome to the very first episode of Talk Sip Time by Refined & Reserved Experiences x No Label Wine Co., The Bottles That Define Us. For our debut episode, we wanted to start with something personal. Not the “best” bottle we’ve ever had. Not the rarest. Not the most expensive. Instead, we each brought the bottle that genuinely helped shape who we are as wine drinkers. To make things even more interesting, we tasted them completely blind before the reveal. This episode is part blind tasting, part storytelling, and part introduction to what Talk Sip Time is all about: opening great bottles, having honest conversations, and making wine feel approachable without stripping away what makes it special. Tonight’s lineup: • Kay’s defining bottle: the legendary 2010 Cakebread Benchland Select Cabernet Sauvignon • Beau’s defining bottle: the elegant and deeply personal 2008 Quinta de Lemos Dona Santana • Chase’s defining bottle: the powerhouse 2021 Duckhorn Vineyards Patzimaro Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Before the labels were revealed, we broke each wine down purely on aroma, structure, texture, balance, emotion, and instinct. Along the way, we talked about the moments that pulled each of us deeper into wine, from the first “wow” bottle, to discovering old world vs. new world styles, to learning how memory and emotion can become attached to certain wines forever. This episode also gives you a glimpse into how all three of our palates differ: Kay tends to lean toward elegance, balance, and polished Napa structure. Beau brings a sommelier-style perspective focused on nuance, restraint, terroir, and storytelling. And Chase? Big tannins, bold fruit, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, and the kinds of wines that make you stop mid-sip and go, “Okay… THIS is what got me hooked.” You’ll hear us debate: • Napa vs. Old World influence • What makes a bottle “important” to someone personally • How wine preferences evolve over time • Whether expensive wine is always better • What separates a “good” wine from a memorable one • And how certain bottles become milestones in your wine journey If you’re new to wine, this is exactly the kind of episode we created this podcast for. No gatekeeping. No pretending to know everything. Just real conversation, honest reactions, and wines that genuinely matter to us. If you’re already deep into wine, we think you’ll appreciate hearing the stories and philosophies behind the bottles that shaped our palates. Whether you’re sipping along with us, driving home from work, cooking dinner, or just curious about wine, we’re glad you’re here for Episode One. And this is only the beginning. Every week, we’ll explore new regions, varietals, pairings, producers, and stories, from affordable everyday bottles to legendary wines we’ve dreamed about opening for years. If there’s a bottle, region, grape, pairing, or topic you’d like us to cover on a future episode, drop it in the comments. Make sure to like, subscribe, follow, and share if you enjoyed the episode. Every listen genuinely helps us continue opening, exploring, and showcasing incredible wines.
