The Art of Collaboration, Gamer Girls, and How The Design Industry is Changing with Monica Reeves
I'm Carly Civello and I'm a Talking Person! Today, I'm talking with Monica Reeves (@monicaokami) about the world of motion design, the creative process behind the 36 Days of Type challenge, and the tools that shape our artistic endeavors.
We chat about the importance of collaboration, the challenges of client relationships, and the evolving landscape of video content.
We also get into design trends, particularly the current 'beige wave,' and how cultural influences shape creative choices. We're a couple of creatives navigating the complexities of our craft.
One correction: In this episode, it was said that the movie Flow was made with a small budget of a million dollars, but it was actually around $3.7 million. This was a significant contrast to the budgets of some of its Golden Globe competitors, which ranged from $78 to $200 million.
