This episode has been discussed here in the studio for a LONG TIME! it finally all came out today,
BUT the real answers are still out there. We know academics have analyzed this at university level and those stories are coming out more and more. What we are more interested in, is how it actually affected you? Maybe it didn't like Sarita until she reflected backwards.
These are the most important conversations we can think about having and the questions and comments are confirming this assumption.
Please LIKE, SHARE, and Subscribe, and above all COMMENT on this episode we want o hear MORE on what you think on this weird, and wonderful time in American TV history.

The Origins of an Entrepreneur
In today's episode Sarita and Latham discuss Sarita's long and rather impressive climb up the American Culture ladder while she really had no interest in the ladder.
She started the way all really great entrepreneurs did, FROM THE BOTTOM and climbed to a point of having a great View.
Fascinating story, one that will resonate with so many hard working people.
Sarita is the girl next door. She was not poor and not rich. She had immigrant parents who never lived like they were not expected to assimilate into America without losing their deep cultural roots.
It's a love letter in many ways of her gratitude for her parents allowing her and her sisters, to be who they were even though their choices might not be so "sustainable"
Enjoy this very entertaining episode.

Spiritualism and the benefits of being a Custodian to Knowledge
Sarita and Latham are back talking about things we all think about from time to time, and we explore a few subjects that have come up in popular culture recently.
Sarita and Latham had watched and worked with many entities that are shaping the contours of what we are experiencing today in an age of what seems like discourse.
They don't see it as discourse. They see that the long form of conversation where people actually allow the other to go beyond the 5 second definition of what a word means. Takes time.
Latham also introduces a new small segment: The Rant

The Doctor has Retired, TAKE 2!
Sarita reflects on the last 10+ years of advice to friends, family, and others, and how this open door to the "Doctors Office" never really was a truly reciprocal relationship. As I have told her for years now, "Sarita! Stop giving the milk away for free!"
Sarita explains why her role in almost all of the companies she worked with and for entailed a high level of interfacing with all members of the organization whether that be employees, executives, children, outside professionals, vendors, guests, diplomats....and her office was the first stop and often the place where people were able to relax, share and get advice.
She feels a role like this is essential in any high functioning, multi faceted group and it allowed her to see the interconnectedness of everyone, especially the big boss. No one was going to thrive unless everyone was taken care of.
Branching on her own in 2015 and continuing to be the "therapist" for collegues, friends, family members...did not end when the paid job ended.
This is a short story on what retiring from that role looks like.

All About Balance, the new book from Author Karen Dockstader
In this episode, we sit down with Karen Dockstader—author, wellness practitioner, and co-author of All About Balance (written with her mother, Shirley Dockstader)—for a grounded and deeply human conversation about what balance really looks like in everyday life.
Karen shares how her path into healing began while she was working as an architect, where she started to recognize the parallels between structural design and the need for internal alignment. That awareness ultimately led her to transition into wellness, where she now helps others reconnect with their bodies and restore balance from within.
In a candid and heartfelt exchange, Karen and interviewer Sarita Patel also explore Sarita’s personal experiences with infertility and cancer, opening up a powerful dialogue about resilience, the body’s signals, and the emotional realities that often go unspoken. Together, they highlight how healing is not linear—and how awareness, compassion, and small daily shifts can create meaningful transformation.
Rather than presenting balance as something to achieve once and for all, Karen offers a more sustainable perspective: it’s an ongoing process of awareness, adjustment, and listening. This conversation is especially resonant for those building something meaningful without massive resources—reminding us that growth can happen through connection, collaboration, and shared insight.
