<p>Folge 18. Wie lässt sich menschenrechtsorientierte Polizeiarbeit vermitteln – insbesondere der Umgang mit Menschen mit Demenz? Mit dieser Frage beschäftigen sich die Gäste dieser Episode, Prof. Dr. Tobias Trappe und Dr. Emanuel John in einem Forschungs- und Lehrprojekt an der HSPV NRW. Im Zentrum steht ein digitales Training mit dem Titel „Menschenwürde im Polizeieinsatz – Demenz verstehen, Rechte schützen“, das bundesweit in Aus- und Fortbildungskontexten genutzt wird. Entwickelt wurde es in Zusammenarbeit mit Praxispartnern aus Polizei und Forschung und gefördert durch das Ministerium für Arbeit, Gesundheit und Soziales NRW. Das Training geht bewusst über klassische Lernformate hinaus: Statt Checklisten und reinem Faktenwissen setzt es auf Perspektivwechsel, offene Fragestellungen und die aktive Einbindung der Lernenden. Ziel ist es, nicht nur Wissen zu vermitteln, sondern ein reflektiertes Verständnis von Menschenwürde, Selbstbestimmung und professionellem Handeln zu fördern.Auch in der Lehre selbst wurden neue Wege erprobt. In Seminaren entwickelten Studierende eigene Filmprojekte, in denen sie typische Einsatzsituationen gestalteten. Diese Form des kreativen Arbeitens eröffnet neue Zugänge zum Thema und stärkt Kompetenzen wie Reflexionsfähigkeit, Zusammenarbeit und eigenständiges Denken. Die bisherigen Rückmeldungen zeigen: Das digitale Training wird nicht nur an der HSPV NRW, sondern auch bundesweit , bis hin zu Einrichtungen in der Schweiz, genutzt und stößt auf großes Interesse. </p><p>Link zum Training: https://training.hspv.nrw.de</p>
