In this episode of TC Drive Time, Sara sits down with Vincent Halay to hear his story of faith, family, and perseverance.
Originally from Liberia, Vincent shares how his journey with Christ has shaped his life as a husband, father, teacher, and member of Trinity Chapel. He talks honestly about raising teenagers, navigating financial pressures, trusting God as Provider, and staying grounded in Scripture when life gets difficult.
Vincent also shares what he loves about Trinity Chapel's diversity and why being part of a church family representing cultures from around the world gives him a glimpse of what the body of Christ is meant to look like.
Through every season, his encouragement is simple: stay close to God, stay in His Word, and keep walking by faith.

THE MORE YOU GROW, THE MORE YOU NEED GOD | Philip Lascoe
What does spiritual maturity actually look like?
In this episode of TC Drive Time, Sarah Carrier sits down with Trinity Chapel Student & Young Adult Pastor Philip Lascoe for an honest conversation about faith, ministry, mental health, doubt, and discovering just how deeply we need God.
Philip shares his journey from growing up at Trinity Chapel, to nearly walking away from his faith, to encountering God in a powerful way at youth camp. He also opens up about his battle with depression, reaching one of the lowest moments of his life, getting the help he needed, and how God has used that experience to help him walk alongside others.
They also talk about reaching the next generation, creating space for real questions, discipling people beyond simply inviting them to church, and why familiar Scriptures like John 3:16 can take on entirely new meaning as we grow.
Philip leaves us with a powerful reminder: spiritual maturity does not mean needing God less. It means realizing how much you have always needed Him.

Passing the Mic: Faith, Motherhood & Mental Health with Sara Carrier
In this episode, I sit down with Sara Carrier for an honest conversation about motherhood, mental health, faith, and vocation. Sara shares what she has learned through the joys and pressures of being a mom, how she has navigated mental and emotional health, and what it looks like to live out her faith in the everyday world of pharmacy.
We talk about caring for others without neglecting yourself, the importance of honest conversations around mental health, and how faith shapes the way Sara approaches her family, her work, and the challenges of everyday life.
But this episode also marks a new chapter for the podcast. Before we wrap up, I turn the microphone over to Sara as she steps into the interviewer’s seat for future episodes. You’ll be hearing her voice more often as she sits down with people in our church and community to hear their stories, ask meaningful questions, and explore how faith intersects with real life.
It’s a conversation about grace, purpose, and trusting God in every season—and the beginning of something new.
