Season 2, Ep. 4 Pouring without Emptying

Season 2, Ep.4: Pouring Without Emptying In this episode of Teatime, we’re having an honest conversation about what it means to love, give, and serve without losing ourselves in the process. If you’ve ever felt exhausted from always being the strong one, the helper, the dependable one — this one is for you. We’ll explore the difference between generosity and self-abandonment, why Jesus never overextended Himself to meet every demand, and how to give from overflow instead of obligation. We’ll also talk about something many of us struggle with — over-explaining our boundaries — and why your “no” doesn’t require a paragraph. This episode is a gentle reminder that rest is holy, boundaries are loving, and you are not called to pour from an empty cup. So grab your journal, take a deep breath, and let’s sip on the Word together. Season 2, Ep. 3: Brewing Boundaries

Season 2, Ep. 3: Brewing Boundaries In this episode of Teatime, we’re steeping in a much-needed truth: boundaries are biblical, loving, and life-giving. Together, we’ll talk about why guarding your heart is an act of faith—not fear—and how healthy boundaries protect your peace, strengthen relationships, and help you live in alignment with God’s wisdom. We’ll break down common myths about boundaries, explore how Jesus modeled rest and limits, and practice what it looks like to say “no” with both grace and strength. If you’ve ever felt guilty for protecting your time, energy, or emotional space, this episode is your gentle reminder that stewardship starts with the heart. So grab your journal, pour a cup, and let’s sip on the Word together as we learn to guard what God has entrusted to us. ☕ Brewing Belief: “I can guard my heart without guilt. My ‘no’ is sacred, and my ‘yes’ is spirit-led.” Takeaways Boundaries are limits that protect your peace and purpose. They are not walls but gates that determine access. Jesus modeled boundaries by withdrawing to pray. Boundaries help prevent resentment and build trust. Setting boundaries is a form of stewardship, not selfishness. Good Christians can say no when necessary. Every yes comes with a cost; weigh your commitments. Communicate boundaries clearly to avoid misunderstandings. Self-care includes setting boundaries with yourself. Love yourself first to love others well. 📓 Companion reflection journal sheet available to help you sit with the Scriptures and apply this truth to your own season:🔗 https://direct.me/teatimetahirah (https://direct.me/teatimetahirah) 🌿 40 Day Better You Journey – Sign Up Here:🔗 https://forms.gle/gcNE4xdV2rh1AChw8 (https://forms.gle/gcNE4xdV2rh1AChw8) Want to connect? 📸 IG: @teatime_4 (https://www.instagram.com/teatime_4/) & tahirah_at_thewell (https://www.instagram.com/tahirah_at_thewell/) 📧 Email: teatimetahirah@gmail.com 📱Text: 484.442.0554

Season 2, Ep. 2: Steeped, Not Rushed: Trusting God’s Timing Without Comparing My Process

In this episode of Teatime, Tahirah invites you to slow down and let go of the pressure of comparison, timelines, and “being behind.” Together, we reflect on what it means to trust God’s timing in a world that glorifies speed and instant results. Through Scripture and storytelling, this episode explores how waiting is not weakness—but preparation. Drawing from powerful biblical examples, including Job, Abraham and Sarah, Jacob, Mary, the woman with the issue of blood, the father of the demon-possessed son, and even Jesus Himself, we’re reminded that God often does His deepest work in seasons of delay. If you’ve ever felt rushed, overlooked, or tempted to compare your journey to others, this conversation is an invitation to breathe, rest, and trust that you are not late—you are being steeped. Grab your tea, open your heart, and let God remind you that everything becomes beautiful in its time. ☕ Brewing Belief: I am not behind. I am being prepared. Takeaways "Life has been happening and this is a judgment free zone." "Some things need time to develop their full flavor." "Waiting is not weakness, waiting is trusting." "The rush often comes from comparison." "We serve a God that loves us enough that he's going to say, mm-mm, baby girl, not yet." "Slow down, okay, slow down." "When we start rushing God, that's when we walk into some traps." "Trust and believe my Lord, the Savior Jesus Christ, His time is not my time." "Blessed are the hurried? Yeah, let's say that nowhere." "You need to check in with God and what his will for your life is before you start to rush things." 📓 Companion reflection journal sheet available to help you sit with the Scriptures and apply this truth to your own season:🔗 https://direct.me/teatimetahirah (https://direct.me/teatimetahirah) 🌿 40 Day Better You Journey – Sign Up Here:🔗 https://forms.gle/gcNE4xdV2rh1AChw8 (https://forms.gle/gcNE4xdV2rh1AChw8) Want to connect?📸 IG: @teatime_4 (https://www.instagram.com/teatime_4/) & tahirah_at_thewell (https://www.instagram.com/tahirah_at_thewell/)📧 Email: teatimetahirah@gmail.com📱 Text: 484.442.0554
