Donna & Nadine had been spinning ideas on how we could EMPOWER everybody. How were we going to do it? Who would be our audience? What topics would we discuss? Where could we channel our messages through?
We‘ve decided to brand our channel ”Teach People How to Treat You”. This catch all tag line is meant to be multi dimensional instead of one. We want to share with our audience how acting/reacting differently in all kinds of life‘s situations can bring positive rather than negative outcomes. In life, love, work, family..........
#26: It May Be Right In Front Of You - Are You Paying Attention?
Sometimes, what we're looking for is right in front of us. The right person, an unexpected opportunity, or a chance to change our lives may be closer than we think. Yet, sometimes we miss the good because we're looking for something else. And sometimes, we see the red flags clearly but choose to ignore them.
In this episode of Teach People How to Treat You, Nadine and Donna explore why we overlook opportunities, fail to recognize the people who are good for us, and make excuses for the behaviours that tell us everything we need to know. Are we seeing people and situations for what they really are, or are we seeing what we want them to be?
Learning to recognize what's right in front of us means trusting our intuition, paying attention to actions rather than words, and being open to people and opportunities that may be so obvious that we end up dismissing them.

#25: Leave Your Ego At The Door
How much of our stress, conflict, and unhappiness comes from our need to be right, be recognized, be validated—or simply have things go our way? In this episode, Donna Cappuccitti and Nadine Dozois explore what happens when we learn to leave our ego at the door.
We talk about the difference between having healthy self-respect and being driven by ego, and how letting go of the need to win every argument or prove our point can create more peace in our relationships and in our own minds.
We also explore how ego can quietly influence the way we react to criticism, rejection, conflict, and even forgiveness—and why sometimes choosing peace is far more powerful than choosing to be right.
A conversation about self-awareness, letting go, and making room for a healthier, calmer way of moving through life.

#24: I'd Rather Not: Hate Is Too Expensive An Emotion
Hate is an expensive emotion—and most of the time, we’re the ones paying the price.
In this episode, Nadine and Donna talk about what happens when we hold onto anger, resentment and hatred toward people who have hurt, disappointed or betrayed us. The truth is, they may not even know—or care—that we’re carrying all of that emotional weight.
So why give someone that much power over your peace?
Instead of spending our energy replaying what happened, holding grudges or wishing someone would get what they deserve, what if we decided that our energy was simply too valuable?
This isn’t about pretending you weren’t hurt or excusing someone’s behaviour. It’s about choosing not to let another person occupy valuable real estate in your mind.
Because life is too short, peace feels too good—and honestly, hate is just too expensive. I’d rather not.
