Forty / 40 in the Word of God

   Numbers in general have a symbolic meaning in the Bible. If frequency implies significance, the number 40 is important, indeed. It appears dozens of times across the Old and New Testaments.In Sacred Scripture, the number “40” can signify new life, new growth, transformation, a change from one great task to another great task, or trials, testing, or a probationary period.Here are the Bible verses quoted:Genesis 5:13 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=313s), KJVRevelation 21:17 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=1277s), KJVGenesis 7:12 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=432s)Genesis 18:23 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=1103s) - 28Genesis 18:29 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=1109s)Genesis 25:20, 26:34Genesis 50:3Exodus 24:18, 34:1 - 28Exodus 34:28Deut. 9:25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=565s&pp=0gcJCWMAwfN6Pr3D)-26; 10:10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=610s)-11Numbers 13:25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=805s), 14:34 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=874s)Numbers 13:25 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=805s); 14:33 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=873s)-34Numbers 14:29 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=869s), 331-Kings 19:8Matthew 24:1 - 2Mark 13:1 - 2 2 Chronicles 24:1Deuteronomy 25:1 - 3Ezekiel 4:5 -6Jonah 3:4Here are some more examples:· The rains fell in Noah’s day for 40 days and nights (Genesis 7:4)· Israel ate manna and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years (Exodus 16:35 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=995s&pp=0gcJCWMAwfN6Pr3D))· God allowed the land to rest for 40 years (Judges 3:11 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=191s), 5:31 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=331s&pp=0gcJCWMAwfN6Pr3D), 8:28 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=508s))· Abdon, a judge in Israel, had 40 sons (Judges 12:14 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=734s))· Israel did evil; God gave them to an enemy for 40 years (Judges 13:1)· Eli judged Israel for 40 years (1 Samuel 4:18 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=258s))· Goliath presented himself to Israel for 40 days (1 Samuel 17:16 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=1036s))· Ishbosheth (Saul’s son) was 40 years old when he began to reign (2 Samuel 2:10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=130s))· The holy place of the temple was 40 cubits long (1 Kings 6:17 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=377s))· Joash reigned 40 years in Jerusalem (2 Kings 12:1)· Egypt to be laid desolate for 40 years (Ezekiel 29:11-12)· Jesus was tempted 40 days (Luke 4:2, Mark 1:13 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqNf0CUDmm4&t=73s))#bible (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/bible) #wordstudy (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/wordstudy) #wordofgod (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/wordofgod) #jesuschrist (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/jesuschrist) #jesus (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/jesus) #anointing (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/anointing) #holyspirit (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/holyspirit) #God (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/god) #godsword (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/godsword) #obedience (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/obedience) #prophetic (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/prophetic) #tgbtg (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/tgbtg)

   The Moedim of God

Moedim (מועדים) is a Hebrew word meaning "appointed times" or "set feasts."It is the plural form of moed, which means an appointment, a specific time, or a meeting place designated by God. God operates in cycles. An appointed time in the Bible represents a precise, sovereign moment, ordained by God to fulfill His divine purposes, execute prophecy, and meet with His people. There are several purposes for which God’s appointed times, or ‘moeds,’ were established. We read in Leviticus 23:1-2 that the purpose of assembling is to proclaim they are the Lord’s feasts.“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: “The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.”’#Sukkot #FallFeasts #Moedim #AppointedTime #YomTeruah

   The Appointed Time

Have you ever heard of the old adage, timing is everything? This is actually a biblical principle. Have you ever experienced a shift in your life — a new season — a time for some things to end or a time for a new beginning? Or have you ever gone through so much that you wonder if things will ever change? Or have you ever wondered why certain things are happening at a certain time? It is human nature to make an attempt to control our circumstances. We spend many waking hours planning to make things happen, or to prevent certain things from happening. However, there are seasons in our lives that are appointed by God. God’s divinely appointed times are called ‘moeds’ in Hebrew. Moedim (מועדים) is a Hebrew word meaning "appointed times" or "set feasts". It is the plural form of moed, which means an appointment, a specific time, or a meeting place designated by God. God operates in cycles. An appointed time in the Bible represents a precise, sovereign moment ordained by God to fulfill His divine purposes, execute prophecy, and meet with His people. And observing them brings alignment and order into our lives. God’s timing IS everything…Taking part in and understanding God’s appointed times leads to a deeper covenantal relationship with the Lord. #appointedtime #fallfeasts #GodsWay

Gifts of the Spirit and Spiritual Gifts

Gifts of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts. What are spiritual gifts? How many are there? Have some gifts ceased? Let’s define spiritual gifts:  a spiritual gift is any ability that is empowered by the Holy Spirit and used in any ministry of the church. We must recognize that spiritual gifts are given to every believer: 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 - Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good 1 Peter 4:10-As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God. I ask that you open your hearts and your Bibles as we go through this teaching on Gifts of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts.

Discipleship - A Witness of Who He Is

Disciples are witnesses of the Living God not bearers of a tradition. It is the Holy Spirit who brings each of the disciples into the teachings of Jesus. True “Discipleship” is not a limited affair it is continuous and final fulfillment of our lives. We must love like Christ to be His disciple, and we can do nothing without Christ. ___________________________________________________ We want to thank you for supporting our teaching Channel, Teaching the World His Word. The Blood of Jesus - pt. 2

The tragedy of the church is not that the blood was insufficient, but that it has been treated as a historical event rather than a present tense, a legal force. ————————— Below are some helpful resources that can help you grow closer to God. 💕 Ministry website: https://www.lisadriverteach.com 🌸 Contact us by mail: 📍 P. The Blood of Jesus NEVER Loses Its Power!

Blood is the highest price a person can pay. If you give your blood, you are actually giving your life. The scripture says that the life of a person is found in the blood. Leviticus 17:11 - For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement. Right in the book of Genesis, is when Yahweh establishes the order for restoration. By the killing of an animal, there was the shedding of blood. There was forgiveness of sins. Watch us today as we show you how the blood of Jesus Christ is the redemptive power for all mankind. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below are some helpful resources that can help you grow closer to God. Pentecost - Shavuot: The Feast of Weeks

It is Shavuot or Pentecost Sunday and it is such a blessing to be here with you today and may we experience the fullness of ABBA Father’s great love, His great grace, and His amazing goodness. It’s such a beautiful beautiful time together to reflect on what the Spirit is saying to us. I believe that ABBA Father has a very specific message for us this Shavuot/Pentecost Sunday and He wants us to receive that. It is so important to be positioned, to be in this time, to make our hearts open and our lives open before Yeshua that He can speak to us.

    The Upper Room

Those of us who are acquainted with the Upper Room, often associate it with Jesus’ Last Supper.` And although this is true, and one of the most significant passages we read and learn about, let’s take a deeper dive into several of “Upper Room’’ encounters we read about in the Bible. UPPER ROOM definition is: (Hebrew: lofty; Greek: A room upstairs) a room frequently built on the roofs of houses and used in summer because it was cooler than the regular living quarters. Again, one of these was the scene of our Lord’s last supper. #upperroom -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below are some helpful resources that can help you grow closer to God. The Bible Explained - The Tool God Has Used To Reveal Himself To This Generation

There are 66 different books of the Bible that are made up of chapter divisions and verses. The chapters and verses are man given and they help us to locate the writing. This is God’s way of reaching out to man. The Bible as we know it is trustworthy and the author is God. It is the vehicle God watched over to make sure that it didn’t get messed up. And God has spoken to us through His written word, one last time to this generation. #teaching #sunday #sundayservice #biblicaltruth #teachers #glory #power

    Reckoned Unto Righteousness

To be reckoned" means to be considered, deemed, regarded, or calculated as a specific thing. It implies a formal or general consensus about someone’s status. The word righteousness means upright, the act of making right, or justification, it emphasizes the status of rightness and calls attention to the result of making right, either by legal abatement or by justification. Join me as I delve into the specific encounter whereby God first introduced this term in His Word - "Reckoned Unto Righteousness," and see how the Lord discloses and reveals that righteousness and faith go hand in had. Jehovah Raphe - The Lord Who Heals Us

There's specific names in the Bible, in the Old Testament particularly, that show God's relation to man and those are the combinations of Jehovah. Jehovah Rophe means Jehovah that Healeth thee and in the specific passage coming out of Exodus chapter 15 it shows that God was telling the Israelites at that time that He is their healer. We see that God has power over all sicknesses and can heal us from our illnesses. This is a teaching point for us - the Bible says the Word of God is for instruction - is for rebuke - and Jesus Christ said that He didn't come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. Wherever Jesus would go He was healing people - there was not one instance where they brought the sick - the infirmed - people who had diseases, that He did not heal. #jehovahrapha #jehovah #healer #jesus #healing #healingwords #confession #believe #love #wordofgod #promise #teaching #2026 #bible #christ #eshetchayil #faith #sunday #sundayspecial #sundayservice SCRIPTURES: Genesis 1:27 Exodus 15:26 Exodus 15:22 Jeremiah 17:14 Matthew 10:8 Proverbs 17:2 III John 2 Isaiah 55:8-9 Matthew 15:21-28 James 5:14-15 First Peter 5:10 James 1:2-4 James 5:11 Mark 9:23 2 Corinthians 1:6 Isaiah 53 4-5 1 Peter 2:24 Matthew 8:17 #wordofGod
