"SPEAK" - Learning a New Language is Hard, but Being Nice Is Easy!
<p>St. James 11th graders Milynn Hung and Almarelli Sanchez Solorio explore being a newcomer to America. Mr. Mike Endreson, a St. James High School Spanish Teacher, walks them through a conversation about learning a new language, starting in a new school, learning English as their second language, and getting involved in their school.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Milynn is a student from China, and Almarelli is from Mexico. Mr. Endreson is an excellent ally to the newcomers in St. James and helps show many of our English Language Learners the ropes and what it takes to be successful in a new environment.</p>
