<p>In Episode 76 of the Temple Barred Podcast, Jim Win and Philip Noone are joined by phenomenal musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jayne Pomplas for a wide-ranging conversation about music, creativity, ADHD, spirituality, quantum physics and the experiences that shape who we become.</p><p><br></p><p>Growing up in upstate New York, Jayne discovered Irish traditional music at an incredibly young age, learning by ear through the Suzuki method before travelling regularly to Ireland and eventually making the life-changing decision to move to Ennis at just 17 years old.</p><p><br></p><p>Jayne shares her journey through the close-knit world of Irish traditional music, her experiences performing around the world, and her remarkable ability to move effortlessly between musical styles. From traditional Irish sessions to recording with artists including Mick Pyro and The Darkness, Jayne discusses life as a session musician and the unique challenge of finding your own artistic voice when versatility has always been one of your greatest strengths.</p><p><br></p><p>The conversation turns to creativity, songwriting and Jayne’s upcoming album, This Is How the World Ends — a deeply personal collection of songs exploring growing up, identity, change and learning to create without placing limitations on yourself.</p><p><br></p><p>Jayne also opens up about her ADHD diagnosis, sensory overload and the decision to radically change the way she was living and working.
