We all know that song, you know, that was recorded there. Aretha Franklin recorded her first song there. Gosh. And then after the kind of the soul movement, there was a gentleman by the name of Dwayne Allman that came and joined some of those sessions with those guys. And that's kind of where we get Southern rock from. Because he was the long-haired guy that joined the band. And the thing that's really unique about Muscle Shoals is people came there to get soul music. […]
