Teachings From The Book of Who: Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
Is Dr. Seuss's How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) a Looney Tunes movie? Maybe? Possibly? Probably not. But because of Chuck Jones's work with Ted Geisel, and because of Jones's work on the television special, the book is forever linked to the Looney Tunes, as is the 2000 film adaptation, directed, at gunpoint, by Ron Howard and starring, at knifepoint, Jim Carrey. Marc and Jordan, to say the least, have a history with this film. Lots of deep-seated trauma from 25 years ago. Yet this film still compels them, in all its off-putting ugliness, bizarre humor and meanspirited edge. The story behind the film, and our thoughts on the film, might be worth all of the trouble. Join us, as we discuss Audrey Geisel's checkbook, Brian Grazer's audacity, Anthony Hopkins's calmness, the pros and cons of adapting a picture book into a full-length film, and far too many other things on the way to trying to figure out what was going on with The...The...The...The Grinch.

Chuck, Friz, and Ted's Bogus Journey
Join us as we take a look at two more Dr Seuss specials spearheaded by Looney Tunes directors! Chuck Jones works with Ted again to adapt the story of Horton the Elephant (No, not the egg one, Chuck doesn't LIKE that guy!) with the 1970s 'Horton Hears A Who', followed the next year with a kind of Chuck Jones/Friz Freleng collab (though not really? it's complicated) with Allan Sherman starring as 'The Cat in The Hat'

Bugs Bunny's Greatest Foes (That We Haven't Covered Yet)
In this episode, Marc and Jordan cover three Bugs Bunny shorts featuring very different kinds of foils, such as a variation on Nasty Canasta in Barbary Coast Bunny and a Russian dog in Hare Ribbin'. And for good measure, we talk about a Yosemite Sam short we think we're really divided on in Rabbitson Crusoe.
