That's Teaching Life

About That's Teaching Life

That's Teaching Life started as a coaching show, became a podcast for teachers, and then went quiet for a while — because sometimes you have to stop teaching long enough to actually learn something yourself. This is that comeback. Same name, same host, completely different classroom. Each week, we're rethinking what a "good life" actually means, digging into real purpose (not the vision-board version), and eventually pulling back the curtain on the tools that changed everything for me — coaching, NLP, and human design. Not theory. My actual journey, mistakes and all. Whether you're a teacher, an ex-teacher, or just someone whose life looks "fine" on paper but doesn't quite feel right — this show is for you. Because the biggest lessons were never really about the classroom. They were about life. That's Teaching Life. New episodes weekly.

The NLP Session That Changed How I Talk to Myself

For years I had one automatic sentence I said to myself after every setback - and never once questioned it. This episode breaks down the NLP session that exposed that pattern, why our internal language quietly shapes what we believe is possible, and the practical (unglamorous) work of rebuilding a harmful sentence into something honest instead. Includes the visual reframing exercise that changed how old failures still felt years later.

Episode 7 - How I Found Coaching (And Why I Almost Ignored It)

The first time coaching crossed my path, I dismissed it instantly. The second time too. This episode is the honest story of why I resisted coaching for years before finally trying it out of pure exhaustion - and what actually happened in that first uncomfortable session that changed everything. Kicking off the final arc of the show: my real journey through coaching, NLP, and human design.

Finding Purpose When You Already Have a Good Life

"Find your passion" is advice everyone gives and nobody explains. This episode ditches the vague poster-quote version of purpose for three concrete questions that actually reveal direction - what makes you lose track of time, what frustrates you on other people's behalf, and what you'd still do without money in the equation. Purpose isn't found sitting still, it's built through action — and it doesn't require blowing up your life to start.
