After a brief rest, the investigation resumes with a growing list of locations tied to the drug operation. With one agent temporarily out of action and time running short, the group must decide where to strike next.

The investigation moves from the destroyed laboratory to the home of one of the people responsible for the bombing. Inside the apartment, the agents uncover damaged equipment, unusual journals, and an infestation connected to an experimental compound. Evidence suggests the substance affected more than its original user. A neighboring apartment provides an even stranger lead. What the team finds inside forces them to decide how much exposure can be contained and what must be removed entirely.

Operating under a federal terrorism investigation, the team examines the damaged perfume laboratory, interviews those connected to the scene, and searches for anything that could explain the bomber’s actions. What begins as a controlled investigation quickly reveals familiar warning signs.
