Podcast Overview

The 0g-SPOT Podcast is a conversation about sex, intimacy, and what it really means to be human in space. Eric Ingram, a space accessibility advocate and wheelchair user, and Alicia Topolnycky, an intimacy coordinator for 30+ film, TV, and theatre projects, come at the topic from very different angles. That is kind of the point. We talk about the things space agencies do not put in mission briefings. What happens to arousal in microgravity? How does disability change when gravity disappears? What does privacy look like inside a spacecraft? And if millions of people are heading to orbit, are we designing for real humans or just astronauts? It is light. It is curious. Sometimes it is ridiculous. But underneath it all is a real question. If we are expanding into space, how do we bring all of ourselves with us?
