The Aboriginal Outlaws Present: The List

Welcome back dear watchers, listeners, fans, and foes as we once again descend into the depths of our command center for another hard hitting, nail biting, heart thundering episode of The Aboriginal Outlaws Podcast.  The summer is hot and humid, sweltering, and as the temperatures rise, so too the fires in the hearts of Akwesasronon; and nowhere is that apparent more than the chosen social media platform of Indigenous People across turtle island: Facebook.  Recently people gathered to confront individual community members who have been implicated and investigated for some of the most heinous crimes we can fathom, and in the aftermath, folks have taken to the internets to voice their opinion and share their stories. Today's guest named names publicly, and, inspired by feedback he received, unleashed an anonymous Facebook group. A place for victims to share their story, and for abusers to be put on blast. Following a firestorm of controversy and eruptions both positive and negative, he has withdrawn from social media and the group is on pause.  Today we welcome Isaiah Benedict into the studio to come tell the tale and share his experience on The Aboriginal Outlaws Podcast.  #akwesasne #podcast #intergenerationaltrauma #aboriginaloutlaws #directaction
