A podcast where a trio of queer adhd-ers read and discuss books based in countries from around the world all the while being stuck in good old Nebraska.
As the people pleasing weirdos that we are, we cannot simply do things for our own amusements [how could we have such audacity?] So we decided to start a brand with our first project being: a podcast.
We three "grown ups" struggle with object permanence so this project ensures our ability to not forget the other two exist! We need your support to maintain our friendship. Oh, and our love of reading!

in the context of The Farming of Bones by Edwidge Danticat, we’re looking at definition two more than one. arguably, it could be said that both are applicable. either way, we were struck by the narrator choice and the laissez-faire attitude that she seemed to hold at the intial discussions of confrontation.
if this is different to how you see it, please, please, share away. we’d love to hear other perspectives.
regardless, we were able to discuss some insights on the current world ,the nature of history and the passage of time.

26. Tender is the Flesh: surprise pikachu
wellllllll, we feel pretty confident that we won't be able to beat this book in regard to tough reads. for once, we can agree with the general internet, this book is not for everyone.
was it tough to get through? yes. was it bad? absolutley not. content was challenging, but thought provoking. and extremely well handled. maybe a little too close to reality, but what dystopian literature isn't?

25. The Bookshop on the Corner: there is NO CORNER!
so this may be the most intense conversation over the chillest book we’ve ever read. it might be easier to have opinions when the stakes are so much lower.
did we learn something? i don’t know. however, we might move to Scotland now. so there was definitely value in this book in our opinion. Thanks Jenny Colgan!
