   A Mystic's Guide to God w/ Father Sean O'Laoire | TAF//11

In this episode of The Ancient Futurist Podcast, I sit down with Father Seán ÓLaoire, a former Catholic priest, mystic, author, clinical psychologist, philosopher, and mathematician with a very colorful journey, which he’s dedicated to exploring and integrating various cultural philosophies and mythologies, including spending 14 years working with the Kalenjin people in Kenya. Seán brings a unique perspective from his roles as author of six books including "Spirits in Spacesuits" and "Setting God Free," spiritual director of Silicon Valley's "Companions on the Journey," and someone who speaks six languages including Swahili and Gaelic. I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. We discuss reincarnation, DNA as a linguistic code, mathematics as the bridge between science and mysticism, why mythology encodes wisdom to survive across cultures, how language shapes consciousness at a fundamental level, astrophysics, plant medicine, and much more. We dove deep. Importantly, we also discuss prayer as a conversation rather than petition, cycles of time and evolution, and why Seán uses the term "Mysticist" to describe the necessary fusion of mysticism with scientific thinking. I live for these topics. DMTx Patient Zero: Psychs, Tech & Entity Contact w/ Carl Hayden Smith | TAF//10

After a long hiatus, TAF podcast is back 🌀 In this episode of the Ancient Futurist Podcast, I dive deep with Carl Hayden Smith, who shares his groundbreaking experiences as "Patient Zero" in Imperial College London's extended-state DMTx research, where he became the first person to complete all five doses in the pilot phase. A respected researcher, consciousness explorer, and director at Noonautics, Carl expands on his framework of "Hyper-Humanism" - using technology to enhance our innate human abilities rather than outsourcing them to AI. The conversation spans from ancient sound healing and sacred sites to cutting-edge psychedelic research, entity contact, and the future of consciousness exploration. We're talking the world's first true contact-centric astronaut expeditions. Topics include: The Museum of Consciousness, Holotechnica (combining endo and exo technologies), darkness retreats & endogenous DMT production, the therapeutic potential of dissociatives like the long-lost MXE (when used with care), and finding balance between peak experiences and integration. Honored to call Carl a friend and to have him on. He’s raised over £10 million in research funding, given 300+ talks in 40 countries, and published more than 50 academic papers, with interests ranging from Holotechnica and Umwelt Hacking to Embodied Cognition and Sensory Augmentation. This is a must-listen for anyone interested in the future of human consciousness, psychedelics, and technology. 00:00 Ancient Healing Sounds and Frequencies 00:58 Intro to Carl Hayden Smith 03:18 Exploring Hyper Humanism 07:55 The Impact of AI and Technology on Human Consciousness 18:05 The Power of Sound and Music 25:21 Transcranial Stimulation and Lucid Dreaming 35:45 The Role of AI in Personalization and Self-Quantification 37:03 The Role of AI as a Wisdom Assistant 39:17 The Future of Psychedelics in Society 44:22 Experiences in the DMTX Program 01:03:08 Exploring the Language of DMT 01:11:35 Architectural Visions and Psychedelic States 01:15:08 Exploring the Power of Dreams and Neural Networks 01:15:53 Parallel Timelines and Salvia Experiences 01:18:43 The Fascinating World of Salvia Reports 01:23:15 DMT and Neuroprotection in Medical Emergencies 01:25:23 AI and the Future of Drug Design 01:26:51 The Magic and Potential of MXE 01:36:17 Balancing Psychedelic Experiences with Real Life 01:47:11 Conclusion and Further Resources 01:48:07 The Importance of Context in Psychedelic Research

The Journey from Pastor to Plant Medicine w/ Mike Tharpe | TAF//09

On this episode of the Ancient Futurist Podcast, I dive in with my good friend, fellow Louisiana swamp native, and former Christian pastor Mike Tharpe to discuss his journey of deconstructing Christianity and paving a new path for himself towards his personal spiritual and intellectual freedom. Mike has an extremely interesting and meandering journey through Louisiana upbringing, attending bible school, becoming a pastor, excommunicating himself from the Christian church, then discovering plant medicines and recognizing them as true sacraments. This conversation dives deep into the constructs of organized religion, belief systems, allegory vs. history, the spectrum of beliefs within the same doctrine, shame and guilt, true intellectual freedom, the purported consequence of eternal damnation, and much more. NFL to Vanlife: Leaving the Dream & Redefining Success w/ Joe Hawley | TAF//07

On this episode of the podcast, I sit down with former NFL player Joe Hawley. Joe has an inspiring story of deep transformation stemming from his decision to leave the dream in order to live the dream. After choosing to voluntarily leave the NFL to seek deeper purpose, he embarked on a mission of self-discovery that led him to plant medicine, meditation, community, vanlife, and much more. Unsupported by many of his teammates and loved ones, Joe's decision to leave behind the pro-athlete dream made little sense to those surrounding him. He listened to his heart, changed his internal definition of "success", and has no regrets. Joe is an all-around awesome human being and I genuinely enjoy his curious energy and our conversation. Joe is a former NFL star who played for both the Falcons and the Buccaneers. After 8 seasons, he decided to walk away from the game, leaving him seeking purpose, identity and community. This transition propelled him on a journey of deep healing and self-discovery. He gave his possessions to charity, adopted a dog, and traveled nomadically in his van across the US for 2 years in search of an answer to the deeper meanings of life. This quest led him toward a wide array of healing modalities including yoga and plant medicine. He found his purpose through transformational wilderness expeditions that he hosts through his business, The Härt Collective. He is also an author, speaker, and host of a popular podcast called Life Beyond The Game. Open Relating as a Means to Understanding the Self w/ Megan Bhatia | TAF//06

Megan Bhatia and I met a while back at Soltara Healing Center in Costa Rica, and instantly recognized our shared curiosities surrounding many aspects of the human experience. We had so many interesting conversations that I really wanted to bring her on the podcast to dive into some of these topics. Megan views everything through the lens of relationship, and she has a fascinating framework surrounding the complexity of the word "relating" itself. Everything exists only in relationship. Though we discuss polyamory on this episode, the overall concept of relating we dive into extends far beyond romantic relationship. Relating with other people, things, circumstances, emotions, etc., is always a means to relating deeper to ourselves. In the first part of this episode, we discuss the infinite nuances of what the word "relating" actually can mean when we bypass cultural norms, and Megan's nuanced personal experience with polyamory. Later in the episode, we pivot to other topics including the Law of One, the fascia's role in connecting the mind and body, processing emotions, the educational system, and how all of these things circle back to relating. Megan is also the host of Amory podcast, where she and her two partners share vulnerably about their experience navigating polyamory. Megan is also the host of Amory podcast, where she and her two partners share vulnerably about their experience navigating polyamory. She now works with people to develop healthy, loving relationships starting with themselves. DMT: Molecular Biotechnologies and Interdimensional Intelligences w/ Andrew Gallimore | TAF//05

On this episode of The Ancient Futurist Podcast, I sit down with Dr. Andrew Gallimore for a psychedelic conversation that won't disappoint. We deep dive on the fascinating and mysterious world of DMT, discussing the importance of furthering our understanding of encounters with extradimensional intelligences, emerging technologies designed to map out the psychedelic worlds, and the neurochemistry and pharmacology of DMT. Andrew and I share a deep recognition of the importance of understanding psychedelics as biotechnologies which allow us to access other facets of reality and expand our understanding of both the human brain and the cosmos. We also discuss in detail DMTx, a multi-faceted research program focused on extending the DMT state through the use of calibrated intravenous drips, allowing for longer and more controlled immersion in the worlds experienced via DMT, as well as aiming to establish extended contact with the intelligences so often encountered by those who enter this realm. This was a wonderful conversation, and is a must-listen for those interested in DMT, neurobiology, the pharmacokinetics of psychedelics, entity encounters, and where this is all heading. Dr. Andrew Gallimore is a computational neurobiologist, chemical pharmacologist, and writer, living and working in Tokyo. He is the author of a range of articles and research papers on the science of psychedelic drug action, as well as two books: 'Alien Information Theory: Psychedelic Drug Technologies and the Cosmic Game' and the recently released 'Reality Switch Technologies: Psychedelics as Tools for the Discovery and Exploration of New Worlds'. His current interests lie in the neuropharmacology and ontological implications of psychedelics, and how they might be developed as tools for communication with alien intelligences inaccessible to normal waking consciousness. The Mind, Body, Breath Connection w/ Steven Jaggers | TAF//04

As a society, we are beginning to recognize a widespread disconnection from our bodies and nervous systems. After a few episodes that largely revolved around understandings of the mind and consciousness, I was excited to sit down with Steven Jaggers to dive into the innate intelligence and 'hidden' mechanisms within the body. From anxiety medications and antidepressants, to things as simple as comfort foods, we often tend to reach for external ways to regulate our nervous systems....forgetting that we always possess what is potentially the most potent regulation tool for the job: the breath. On this episode, we discuss the science of breathwork, how and why to activate the parasympathetic versus sympathetic nervous systems, the similarities between breathwork and psychedelic experiences, and more. While awareness of this field is rapidly growing, I'd say it's still far from common knowledge. When they become common knowledge, these modalities just might revolutionize many aspects of health. I hope you enjoy this conversation about ways to rekindle the connection between the mind and body. Steven is the founder of Somatic Breathwork, a new breathwork modality designed to help people get out of their thinking minds and into their bodies. Passionate about human optimization and structural/intuitive movement, Steven has a background in teaching Kinesiology, Anatomy, Somatic Therapies and is a Neuromuscular Therapist. The Law of One: Defining God & Infinity w/ Jim McCarty | TAF//03

This very special episode of the podcast features Jim McCarty, one of the three people responsible for the Law of One material - a framework of reality like no other I've discovered. There are many different things that can be gathered and contemplated from the information within this material. It ties together the teachings of quantum physics, astrophysics, non-dual mystical traditions, consciousness, various aspects of spirituality, and so much more. Ultimately, it's an entire system through which to view reality and existence, without relying on dogma, fable, and metaphor the way many well-known frameworks or philosophies do. The Law of One, also known as the Ra material, is a set of transcripts that were recorded over 3 years in 1981-1984. This body of work is the result of three people, Don Elkins, Carla Rueckert, and Jim McCarty developing a protocol to initiate contact with extraterrestrial intelligences. The process through which this was achieved was refined over a period of more than 10 years before the Ra contact was established. Don was a physics professor at the University of Louisville. He became fascinated with UFOs in the 1950's and began researching and speaking with UFO contactees. Don initiated a group experiment, starting with 12 of his physics students, and spent years further developing the techniques. This process eventually led to the Ra contact. This episode covers this backstory (be sure to watch the intro). Before finding this material and committing to understanding it, there was no one who could've convinced me of the authenticity of any "channeled" works. That said, I implore you to listen closely, with an open mind. If you do so and resonate with it, I'm confident you'll come to the same conclusion I did: it is so profound, that the origin is less important than the information itself. The Law of One transcripts are direct question/answer sessions with Ra, who used extremely concise language to describe the various aspects of reality in response to Don's highly intelligent line of questioning. That said, the language is so dense and precise that it often requires serious commitment, contemplation, and visualization to grasp the underlying meaning. The intention of this podcast is to begin to break some of the concepts down into simpler language to make it more digestible and less of a commitment for people who find that to be helpful. Despite covering a good bit, Jim and I barely scratched the surface in this episode. I ultimately consider it to be an intro - we are releasing a part two (and likely more) soon. Part two will elaborate even further, largely focusing on the various specific parallels that can be drawn between the Ra material and science, quantum physics, black holes, fractal mathematics, emergence theory, and numerous other frameworks and spiritual teachings. To all those whom this podcast finds: Enjoy - I hope you resonate with these articulations of the nature of reality to the same degree that I do. 5-MeO-DMT: Remembering Intelligent Infinity w/ Joel Brierre | TAF//02

5-MeO-DMT is considered by many to be the most reliably profound and paradigm-shifting psychedelic compound. It consistently produces reality-shattering experiences of total oneness with all that is - a total loss of one's sense of subject/object relationship with reality. The mind seems to expand into infinity and the nature of consciousness itself becomes apparent as an often undeniable felt sense. This experience often produces the remembrance of a jarring, yet self-evident Truth - one alluded to by countless ancient cultures. Joel Brierre is the Founder and CEO of the psychedelic wellness companies Kaivalya Kollectiv and Tandava Retreats. He's been deeply involved in the modern psychedelic movement, specifically in the realm of 5-MeO-DMT and the Bufo Alvarius toad. His approach of applying non-dual yogic philosophy as geography for the entheogenic experience offers a comprehensive framework navigate it. Joel runs the Tandava center in Tepoztlan, Mexico and is overseeing the development of the Costa Rica center set to open in 2023. Joel’s team has now also launched F.I.V.E., a centralized hub of resources and information around 5-MeO-DMT (five-meo.education (http://five-meo.education/)). Ancient Medicines & Future Paradigms w/ Melissa Stangl | TAF//01

Welcome to the first episode of the Ancient Futurist Podcast. For this one, I dive in with a good friend and amazing human, Melissa Stangl. Years after leaving corporate scientific America to live and work in the Amazon studying the profound healing effects of plant medicines, Melissa co-founded and is presently the COO of Soltara Healing Center (soltara.co), a Shipibo-led ayahuasca center in Costa Rica. She is also co-founder of The Maloca (themaloca.com), a conscious community platform centered around holistic healing and psychedelic medicines. Melissa and I share a deep passion for helping bridge the gap between the Western world and the incredible healing potential of plant medicines, while honoring the traditions and lineages who pioneered their ceremonial use for millennia. We're also both equally passionate about exploring the parallels between newly uncovered scientific data with concepts that have been conveyed for ages by shamanic cultures. We dive into a range of topics, including multiple facets of ayahuasca, trauma, unifying science and mysticism, belief, respectfully integrating indigenous tradition into the Western paradigm, the power of sound during ceremony, AI & the psychedelic renaissance, and more. **Excuse the slight video glitches in a few of the first episodes. They were irreparably exported this way by my remote recording platform; the issue has since been fixed.** Check out The Maloca (online community platform): https://themaloca.com/ (https://themaloca.com/) Check out Soltara: https://soltara.co/ (https://soltara.co/) Connect with Savej: Socials: IG | https://www.instagram.com/savejlife/ (https://www.instagram.com/savejlife/) Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/savejmusic (https://www.facebook.com/savejmusic) Find my music: Spotify | https://open.spotify.com/artist/0QZI6uO8AqGwHRDkS2ubGD (https://open.spotify.com/artist/0QZI6uO8AqGwHRDkS2ubGD) Apple Music | https://music.apple.com/us/artist/savej/848346356 (https://music.apple.com/us/artist/savej/848346356) BandCamp | https://savej.bandcamp.com/ (https://savej.bandcamp.com/) SoundCloud | https://soundcloud.com/savejofficial (https://soundcloud.com/savejofficial) ☥Ancient Future Spotify Playlist☥ | https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6dpW9D2zhLO3LYprAoK2h0?si=3a7c90ca09374754 (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6dpW9D2zhLO3LYprAoK2h0?si=3a7c90ca09374754) ☥https://SavejMusic.com (https://SavejMusic.com) ☥
