   Sermon: Trinity 19 (10-10-26)

"Power on Earth to Forgive Sins" The purpose of today's sermon is the same as Jesus' purpose in working His miracle: that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins, and that this power continues today through the ministry of men. — Sermon text: Matthew 9:1-8

   Sermon: Trinity 18 (10-03-26)

"Complete Salvation in Christ" The Pharisees' question about the Law was a good question. Their answer about the Christ was a good answer. But they left something to be desired. Their discussion of these matters was incomplete. — Sermon text: Matthew 22:34-46

Sermon: St. Michael & All Angels (09-29-26)

"The Revealed Word about Angels" Today’s festival provides the Church with the opportunity (and even the obligation) to speak about angels. Though even she doesn't have extensive knowledge on this subject, she knows much more than anyone else! She speaks today to clear away the superstition and set the record straight on this comforting doctrine of God's Word.
