Dog Days of Summer | the heliacal rising of Sirius + the lion's gate portal (what does it mean?) + "should I leave my corporate job?"
The Dog Star, Sirius, soon to be visible in the east before sunrise, portends potent fire and potential blessings, to be channelled with care, but to be channelled for sure…
Hello friends,
Life has been lifeing, so I stepped away from the pod for a while, but I’m still here, still doing readings (https://www.mysticsandwich.com/readings), preparing the fall syllabus for The Secret Art (https://mystic-sandwich-community.mn.co/landing/), contemplating gender (and “the sacred feminine” + “the sacred masculine”), navigating that strange terrain, practically no man’s land, betwixt the academic and the spiritual (book club anyone?).
In this episode, we get into: an emerging theme from recent readings (the short version is “should I leave my corporate job?”); the heliacal rising of Sirius, and what that has to do with the lion’s gate portal; and I also share a little about how I work with astrology, and why I stopped doing readings a few years back, and then started again.
The Great Corporate Exodus?
I’ve worked with several clients in the past few months who have come to me with a similar question which is some version of “should I leave my corporate job?”. I riff on that and share why this emergent theme is promising for the collective. Of course the situation will be unique to each individual, but I share a few general suggestions and thoughts for those who may be contemplating something similar as well as what it means for the collective at large.
The Lion’s Gate 88 Portal
Everyone is excited about the lion’s gate portal as usual but what does it meannnn? What are the specific frequencies we’re working with right now? We get into: the heliacal rising of the brightest star in the sky, Sirius, aka the Dog star, and how that’s relevant to the quality of time these days. The connection with Sirius also portends a greater resonance with its more esoteric connotations, so if you’re on that beat, stay tuned for synchronicities.
Thank you for reading/listening,
Sending my love,
andi
