This is where women come to question the stories, patterns and expectations that have shaped them and discover who they really are underneath them.
Hosted by relationship coach Jessica Hayes, each episode explores self-love, identity, relationships, healing, confidence, purpose, motherhood, intimacy and the messy, beautiful process of becoming.
Jessica is the friend who will make you laugh, challenge your bullshit, lovingly call you out and help you see where you might be abandoning yourself.
Let's dive in!
S4E1. I’m Back: What Motherhood Has Taught Me About Love, Life & Myself
I'm back! It's been a long time since I sat behind this microphone and a lot has happened since you last heard from me.
I became a mum. Our relationship changed. My identity changed. And, in ways I didn't expect, I changed.
In this episode, I’m sharing what the last 10 months of motherhood have taught me about love, relationships, identity and becoming and why I'm bringing The Awakened Woman back with a new perspective.
We talk about motherhood, navigating a relationship after having a baby, losing and finding yourself, relationship patterns, taking responsibility without taking the blame, and why the relationship changes when you do.
Because your relationship is more than something you need to fix. It can be a catalyst for your awakening.

Save these, send them to your partner and talk them through before baby arrives.
1️⃣ What are your expectations of me during the first six weeks?
2️⃣ What kind of mum/dad and partner, do you want to be?
3️⃣ How will you support me while I'm healing, physically and emotionally?
4️⃣ How do we feel about co-sleeping/bed-sharing and breastfeeding?
5️⃣ How will we protect our connection, intimacy and relationship when life revolves around baby?
6️⃣ How will we approach finances if one of us stays home?
7️⃣ How will we communicate when we're tired, overwhelmed or disagree about parenting?
8️⃣ What does self-care look like for each of us, and how will we make space for it?
9️⃣ How will household responsibilities and the mental load be shared?
🔟 How will we continue to show love, appreciation and affection?
1️⃣1️⃣ How will we both continue to prioritise our personal growth?
1️⃣2️⃣ What do we want our relationship to look and feel like once we become parents — and how will we protect it?
Because it's not just about asking, “How will we care for the baby?” It's also about asking, “How will we care for us?”

S3E9. Everyone Wants a Village, But Not Everyone Wants to Be a Villager: When ‘Protecting Your Peace’ Becomes the Problem.
In this final episode before I step away for maternity leave, I want to leave you with something that’s been sitting on my heart, the truth about community, connection, and the modern obsession with “protecting your peace.”
We live in a world that celebrates independence, self-care, and boundaries, all important things. But somewhere along the way, the “self, self, self” narrative began to isolate us. We say we want a village, but many of us struggle to actually be villagers. People struggle to show up, serve, and stay connected when it’s uncomfortable or inconvenient.
In this conversation, we’ll explore:
💭 Why everyone craves a village but few want the responsibility that comes with it
💭 How the “protect your peace” movement can unintentionally lead to loneliness and disconnection
💭 The difference between healthy boundaries and emotional walls
💭 What it really takes to build authentic support
💭 How to balance your own needs while still being part of something bigger than yourself
💭 How to stop comparing the people in your life and start seeing everyone’s uniqueness.
As I prepare to welcome my baby and step into my own season of needing my village, this episode is both a reflection and a gentle reminder…
Real community asks for our presence, not just our preferences. Sometimes peace isn’t found in pulling away, it’s found in showing up.
