AI in the Formation: What Technology Can Amplify and What It Cannot Replace l BLx l Ep. 040
Most NCOs would rather guess than admit a gap. We tell ourselves authority is at stake. It is not. Credibility is.
A Junior Soldier asks you a technical question. You half-know it. You give the half-answer with full confidence. Two days later they figure out you were wrong. You did not lose the answer. You lost the next ten questions.
This week SGT Cashe and SSG Jones break down the sentence Senior NCOs avoid the most, and the three-part move that turns it from a weakness into a credibility play. I do not know. Let me find out. I will come back to you by 1300. The third part is the one most leaders skip. It is the one that changes everything.
This week: One rep. Catch yourself once. Use all three parts. Deliver by the time you named.
Because of you, our Army is better.

The Seven Questions: What the SMA Put on the Table This Week l BLx l Ep. 038
Most NCOs got promoted into leadership. They were never asked why they wanted it. The Sergeant Major of the Army just made that not optional.
This week SMA Weimer put seven questions on the table at Fort Bliss for Sergeants Major Course Class 76. The first three are the ones most leaders cannot answer honestly. The hardest is the third: what would your spouse say your real answer is.
SGT Cashe and SSG Jones walk the seven, reframe them for every echelon, and call out the drift between momentum and purpose for the generation of NCOs that came up during high-tempo years. They land on one move you can run before Monday formation.
This week: Pull out your green notebook. Write your answers to the first three questions, two sentences each. Hand it to your spouse. Ask one question. Does this match the person you live with. Their face is the diagnostic.
Because of you, our Army is better.
