[…] So the place of DLP -1 medications I see prior to surgery can be if someone is at a very high BMI and a high weight and they need to get down to a slightly stupor weight or surgery, but that will also make the surgical journey more favourable. Some people may be outside the weight requirements for the hospitals, for example, or the beds and things like that. But also, I mentioned type of diabetes. There are patients where their diabetes is not as well controlled prior to surgery as we'd like. And again, we can start to have the conversation about improving the diabetes control because all the controlled diabetes can influence healing. […]
