Ep. 132 What are Human Design Authorities, Gate 52 and Finding Your Power in Stillness

In this week's episode, with our host, Gwen Dittmar, Coach, Somatic Breathwork, and Soul Guide, we delve into the foundational question: What is Human Design? and this week, What are the Human Design Authorities, and how are we meant to make decisions. We will also discuss in this episode the current Sun transit in Human Design through Gate 52, The Gate of Stillness. This is a powerful energy to embody through this transit, in a world that is moving at a frenetic pace. Located in the Root Center, Gate 52 often gets misunderstood as laziness or paralysis — but it’s actually a deeply somatic, anchoring force that allows us to concentrate, ground, and find clarity before we act. Whether you carry this gate in your chart or you're simply navigating its current transit, this episode will support you in understanding: The difference between freeze and fertile stillness How Gate 52 can feel in the body and nervous system How this energy impacts your work, relationships, creativity, and sense of timing Why learning to honor your pauses is the key to powerful focus THANK YOU for being here. Published 22 Apr 2025 · Transcript excerpt

And so I was sort of already up against the wall when I started because my peers had more skills than I did just because they sort of started their career in financial services. So I really looked at it as this is a really unique opportunity for me. I've got to just do the work, listen, learn. […]
