You're capable, ambitious and really good at showing up for everyone else. But somewhere in the middle of doing it all, you have struggled to show up for yourself. And now you're overwhelmed, tired or maybe a bit lost. This podcast is ready for the woman ready to take up space and make her life about her again!
Maybe you've just been going through the motions, perhaps you've got too many ideas and are overwhelmed by the your own ideas and potential; or maybe you know exactly what you want, but just can't seem to get traction on it? Perhaps you're starting to question at this stage in your life; 'where do I belong now?'
Hosted by your Elevator-in-Chief Nicola Fulstow; who has 20 years of experience as a women's Coach, Image Consultant and Business Owner; each episode is an honest warm conversation about the inner work that actually moves the needle. Real self-care. Essential boundaries. Messy, unapologetic, non-linear growth.
No quick fixes, no toxic positivity no fake performance. Just the truth about the challenges and lessons about making your life about you again after a period of change in your life, where you felt like you kind of disappeared... and now you're ready to return.
Ever bought the course, booked the networking event, tweaked your branding and dreamed up a brilliant new service, all while wondering why your business still isn’t moving forwards?
You might have a touch of what I call magpie syndrome. And believe me, I know it well.
In this episode, I’m talking about the difference between being busy and doing the work that actually builds your business. We’ll look at why shiny new ideas feel so irresistible, what constantly starting over is costing you, and why the answer probably isn’t another course.
Sometimes growth comes from making a decision, staying focused and doing the slightly boring stuff consistently.
Highlights:
(03:53) - You’ve been busy all week, but what actually got you closer to a paying client?
(08:04) - Courses, rebrands, podcasts and new ideas: welcome to magpie syndrome
(12:32) - Is it genuine growth, or is distraction wearing a very convincing outfit?
(16:48) - Why starting something new feels SO good, until the actual work begins
(25:39) - Keep changing direction and you lose the compounding effect of sticking with one thing
(29:59) - Maybe you don’t need more knowledge. Maybe what’s missing is focus and discipline

Visibility Could Be Vanity But Reputation is Sanity
We’re being told constantly that we need to be more visible. Post more. Show up more. Be everywhere. But after a competitor got an opportunity I thought should have been ours, I panicked... and then absolutely nothing happened.
Our relationships stayed intact, our business carried on, and it made me question whether visibility is really the thing we should all be chasing.
In this episode, I’m exploring the difference between being seen and actually being known, trusted and remembered.
I’m talking reputation, real connection, social media fatigue and why your marketing strategy needs to work with who you are. Because you’re a human being, not a content machine, and sometimes the people we remember most are the ones who made us feel seen.
Highlights:
(04:20) - A competitor got the stage, I panicked... and then absolutely NOTHING happened
(08:35) - Everyone is visible all the blooming time, so why does it all feel like noise?
(12:38) - Are you actually connecting, or are you just broadcasting into the void?
(17:02) - I stopped posting and we had our busiest year in 14 years... excuse me, WHAT?
(25:07) - The person who was 20 times more visible didn’t get my money, and here’s why
(33:33) - Maybe the question isn’t “How can I be more visible?” but “How do I want to be known?”

There's a Glass Ceiling on Your Business And You Need to Hear What it is
If you’re a sole trader or running a small business, here’s something worth considering: you are your business. Your confidence, energy, boundaries, fears and even the amount of sleep you got last night can affect how you show up, and ultimately, how your business performs.
So what if the thing holding your business back isn’t another strategy you haven’t discovered yet?
In this episode, I’m looking at the patterns behind overgiving, undercharging, procrastination, playing small and struggling to be visible.
I’m also talking about finding your natural genius, because building a successful business shouldn’t require becoming someone you’re simply not.
Highlights:
(05:06) - The launch excitement has disappeared... now what?
(09:37) - Feast or famine in your business? It might not be as random as you think
(14:37) - Are you supporting everyone else while quietly avoiding your own spotlight?
(19:07) - When saying no feels harder than being completely drained
(24:08) - Your natural genius might be the business strategy you’ve been overlooking
(29:29) - Ambition and inner peace absolutely can exist in the same business
