About The Bible Men

"Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage..." Joshua 1:9 (KJV) Your hosts are Vik Khanna and Rich Gurdak, two regular guys who love God and his Holy Bible. The modern church -- Catholic, Protestant, and non-denominational -- has failed all Christians, but in particular American Christian men. With its blatantly anti-Scriptural obsession with winsomeness, ecumenism, feminism, racial idolatry, sexual anarchy, and destruction of the nuclear family, the modern church is not just standing idly by while America descends into Satan's abyss, it is facilitating the decline with its cowardly inability to read the Bible and tell the truth. The Bible is the world's most important and effective moral roadmap; it is also an incandescent showcase of heroic masculinity that tells the true story of the ultimate man, Jesus Christ, the son of God, whose strength and courage are literally heaven sent. Join us for our weekly podcast to learn what God commands you -- an American man -- to do to save your own soul and lead everyone in your family, community, and country to salvation by the power of your example. Come, read the Bible with us, and learn what God-sent strength and courage really mean. Why does the Pontius Pilate of Matthew 27 resemble virtually every politician who ever lived?

Nothing speaks to the corruption and cravenness of politicians everywhere like the actions of Pontius Pilate in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 27. And there is nothing that speaks more to the quiet courage required of Christian men than the silent forbearance of Jesus in the face of His brutal death at the hands of the Romans and the Jewish mob. Sadly, so many of the dysfunctions of our society are due to the fact that far too many Christian men have forgotten what is required of them. We have not forgotten.

Why is it Biblcal to both stop the H1B visa program and execute convicted murderer Nidal Hasan?

This week we take a break from our work in the Gospel of Matthew to look at two hot button public policy issues that have strong Biblical overtones. First, the Trump administration has ended an H1B (guest worker) program that benefited primarily huge tech companies such as Microsoft and academic institutions. This cessation disproportionately impact IT engineers from India, who have flooded the United States, brought their extended families with them, built pagan temples, and sent large amounts of money back to their third-world homeland. The problem is that a very small minority actually love America and want to become American. They, like the Islamists, are much more interested in creating little Indias all over the U.S. Starting in the Old Testament, God demands orderly human passage from place to place, and He also expects the traveler to adhere to the laws and traditions of his adopted homeland. Indians have done very little of that. American money is great; American faith, history, and traditions not so much. This is unacceptable, and we applaud the administration, and say fare-thee-well. The second issue is the execution of Nidal Hasan, a Muslim terrorist and convicted murderer. Thirteen years ago, while an officer in the U.S. Army he murdered 13 people, including a pregnant woman. He was convicted and is scheduled to be executed killed by firing squad on December 03, 2026. We support the execution and live streaming it. There is a strong Biblical foundation for both. We will resume Matthew next week, with Chapter 27.

How would react if two people who claimed to love you turned their backs on you in the same night?

Well, that’s exactly what happens to Jesus in the second part of Matthew 26. First, Judas delivers him to the corrupt Jewish leaders who then seize him and prepare to deliver him to the Romans to do their dirty work. Then, just as Jesus predicted, Peter denies that he even knew Jesus three times before the rooster crows. Join us we work through this sad and sobering Gospel account.
