   64 - Eclipses, Pressure & the Rewriting of Confidence - New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Leo

   The second half of August brings a very different tone from the first. In this episode of The Bitcoin Zodiac, we explore the astrology from the August 12 Solar Eclipse in Leo through the August 27 Lunar Eclipse in Pisces—a period shaped by visibility, institutional pressure, shifting narratives, regulation, and tests of confidence. For Bitcoin, the deeper question is not simply whether pressure appears, but where that pressure lands. Does it challenge Bitcoin itself, or the centralized systems built around it? Bitcoin Under Pressure: The August 17 Saturn-Pluto square is one of the most consequential transits of this period. It may highlight regulation, institutional control, infrastructure, custody, or pressure on the centralized systems surrounding Bitcoin. Bitcoin itself remains decentralized at the protocol level, but exchanges, ETFs, custodians, mining infrastructure, and liquidity can still become concentrated. This period may make that distinction increasingly important. Pressure does not always mean weakness. Sometimes it reveals which structures are actually durable. The Bigger Cycle: With the North Node in Aquarius and the South Node in Leo, the larger story continues to revolve around a shift from personalities toward systems. Aquarius favors networks, technology, distributed participation, and decentralized structures. Leo’s South Node asks us to release excessive dependence on spectacle, authority figures, and personality-driven leadership. Bitcoin fits naturally into that transition. It has no CEO, no central authority, and no individual capable of changing its monetary policy at will. The August eclipses may accelerate this broader redistribution of trust. For Traders: The second half of August may bring strong narratives, headline volatility, and rapid swings between optimism and fear. Be especially cautious around August 17 and the eclipse windows. Respect confirmation. Separate headlines from structure. Avoid assuming the first market reaction reveals the final direction. For Long-Term Investors: Return to first principles. Ask whether a negative development threatens Bitcoin itself, or whether it primarily affects an exchange, custodian, ETF, company, or intermediary. Those are very different risks. August may test confidence, but tests are often how confidence becomes real. Astrology does not guarantee market direction.
