Anton Silva hosts Unfiltered Empire, a unique perspective from Brazil to the world. We talk about politics, culture, art, and the ideas that shape our lives. Expect raw thoughts, unconventional takes, and a very distinctive accent.
Why "Unfiltered Empire"?
Answer: Empire represents a time when Brazil had a sense of dignity, hierarchy, and a future. It’s not just monarchy but the sovereignty of the soul. We used to be a serious people with a serious project. Now, we’re just a fragmented collection of individuals. Henceforth the name, I’m looking for the greatness Brazil abandoned.

JAIR BOLSONARO ARRESTED! The Political PERSECUTION in Brazil Explained | #008
Jair Bolsonaro has been arrested by order of the Brazilian Supreme Court. While Lula's government protects dictators in Venezuela, they're arresting their main political opponent in Brazil.
This is WITCH HUNT. This is TYRANNY.

ABOUT EUROPE II: Welcome to the Circus! | #007
Welcome back to the greatest show on Earth! 🎪 In this episode, we're taking y'all, my gringo friends, on a wild tour of the absolute circus happening across the pond.
What's on today's program?
🤡 Europe's Immigration Insanity: We've got a front-row seat to the collapse of the continent! From the absolutely hilarious (and pathetic) situation of Scotland's former muslim Prime Minister... let's just say the jokes write themselves. What a time to be alive!
🍺 Special Guest Star: Brazil's Drunk President: That's right, world! Let us proudly introduce you to OUR president—a true statesman who loves to give speeches completely... refreshed. You gotta see it to believe it. You're welcome, world!
But before we get too deep into the circus, a quick shout-out to a real one—a woman with actual balls.
Massive respect to María Corina Machado in Venezuela.
While Western leaders bow to dictators, this woman actually went out and WON A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for fighting Maduro's narco-dictatorship.
She didn't cry for a safe space—she stood up to a regime that would disappear her in a heartbeat.
That, my friends, is a hero. The globalist left can't stand her because she proves you don't need to be a weak, woke activist to win peace. You just need courage.
Respect, María Corina. You're an icon.
We're here to point and laugh at the left's magnificent self-destruction. So grab your popcorn, sit back, and let's mock these clowns together. 🤡🌍
Follow me so you don't miss the next episode of the global circus!

ABOUT EUROPE | #006
Why defend Europe?
I have no stake in the game, no ethnic axe to grind. My stake is in truth. It's a sad spectacle: the engine of Western civilization is being taken apart piece by piece through mass immigration and a pathological guilt, it's the loss of cultural self-confidence.
You should learn why defending Europe's legacy is not a sin, but a necessity.

Rest in Peace, Charlie Kirk | #005
In this episode, I reflect on the passing of Charlie Kirk, for me, a spiritual brother-in-arms and brother in Christ whose voice and presence will be deeply missed. I share my thoughts on the loss and send my love and prayers to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his work.

The Unshaken Iberian Legacy in a Republic That Tried to Erase It | #004
In Brazil, the colonial past refuses to be erased. Despite the relentless efforts of republicans and liberals—who would happily rewrite history to erase any trace of Iberian influence—the grand architecture of the colonial era still stands. These buildings scream of Iberia, demanding recognition of a past that shaped the present. Meanwhile, in places like India colonial relics seem to fade into obscurity, met with indifference rather than reverence.

#007 - YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TALK
Well, it seems to me that questioning is not allowed in this country. Nothing new right? A republic born from a coup, is destined to live in disgrace.

#006 - Why Brazil is The Beggar of the World?
Talking a bit about Brazil, the country that begs for pity and sympathy from the rest of the world. I’m going to tell you how our government is so corrupt that our Minister of Defense, who is supposed to protect us from criminals, has ties with the biggest criminal organization in Brazil. And guess what? He’s going to be in the Supreme Court soon! How convenient!
I’m also going to talk about how Leonardo Di’Caprio and Greta Thunberg, the environmental activists who pretend to care about the Amazon rainforest, have supported this government in the past and now they are silent. Why? Because they don’t really care about us, they just see us as a victim, a beggar country, and that’s what our government wants to be seen as. They want to play the victim card and get money and attention from the world.
And speaking of the Amazon, you won’t believe what the state of Amazon government did. They made a video charging Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com, for using the name Amazon. Yes, you heard that right. They think they own the name Amazon and they want money from Bezos. Of course, this became a huge joke on the internet and everyone laughed at them.
I don’t want us to be seen as a beggar country, but that’s what our government is doing. They are ruining our economy (MORE THAN IT WAS ALREADY RUINED), our environment, and our dignity. They are making us look like fools and beggars. And I’m sick of it. That’s why I’m making this podcast, to tell you the truth and to make you laugh at the absurdity of it all. Join me if you wanna know a bit about the true Brazil, the beggar of the world.

#005 - Creativity
In this episode, I'll be discussing my creative perspective, particularly focusing on my creations such as the book I'm currently writing. I'll delve into its style, explaining my preference for grounded themes over dragons and fantasy, while still maintaining a deep affection for Game of Thrones. Additionally, I'll explore why, as a Brazilian, I've chosen to write in English instead of Portuguese.

#004 - Portugal, I'm sorry: How our government disrespected our ancestors
In this episode, I talk about how our Minister of Justice is a complete moron, and how he decided to go to Portugal and disrespect their history, which is also our history, since we are descendants of Portuguese people. He basically peed on our ancestors, and he doesn’t even care. And why should he? Our country, Brazil, is a huge waste of potential, thanks to the leftists who ruined our education and culture. We don’t value our history, our heroes, or our identity. And you, Portugal, thought we wouldn’t pee on YOUR history? Haha, you’re so naive. (AND I AM SO SORRY). I also talk about the idea behind my podcast, and how discipline is more important than motivation.
This episode is not for the sensitive or the ignorant. I tell it like it is, and I don’t hold back. If you can handle some harsh truths, then you’ll enjoy this episode. If not, then you can go back to your bubble and pretend everything is fine.

#003 - Random Thoughts
Hey there, folks! So, I just wrapped up this episode of our podcast, and I have to admit, it got a little random there. I was almost drifting off to sleep and started talking about life, you know, those introspective thoughts that creep in when you're on the edge of slumber.
But here's the deal–I recorded this episode because I'm trying to make this a regular thing, like a training exercise for myself. It's a way for me to push the boundaries of my creativity and to see where my mind goes. So, who knows what kind of insights or wild tangents I'll come up with next time? Thanks for tuning in, and stay curious!!!

#002 - Brazil's Love Affair with Crime and Violence
Welcome to the latest episode of my podcast, where we're about to take Brazilian cinema and dissect it with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel. Grab your seat, but don't expect too many twists and turns, because our film industry is like a one-way street. It's crime, violence, and comedy, rinse and repeat.
Sure, it's cool to indulge in some of these movies, but after a while, you start wondering if we're capable of doing anything else. I mean, can we?
Then there's the romanticization of favelas, those vibrant, colorful neighborhoods that, by the way, are controlled by criminal factions. And what's funnier (or sadder) is that gringos (foreigners) are brave enough to visit and even embark on favela tourism. I mean, I wouldn't go there even if you paid me in gold bars, but hey, each to their own.
But let's not forget, we're the ones to blame for romanticizing favelas, pretending they're cultural hubs when, in reality, it's a harsher existence than most would imagine. It's time to call it like it is.

#001 - Exploring English, Ancient World, and Sarcasm Therapy
In the debut episode of my podcast, I pull no punches when discussing my quest to master the English language as a Brazilian. However, this podcast is an unapologetic exploration of my passions and my country, warts and all.
I delve into the enigmatic world of ancient history, hoping we'll find our way through the labyrinth of civilizations long past. Simultaneously, I cast a stark spotlight on the Brazilian people, confronting the harsh realities that we must face. I don't walk away from acknowledging the darker side of Brazil. I speak about the criminal factions that have caused immense suffering and tragedy. It's an unfiltered look at the harsh truths of a nation with a complex history.
But I don't stop there. In the second part of the episode, I steer the conversation towards the potent therapeutic power of sarcasm. It's a tool I use to confront even the most uncomfortable topics, to lay bare the absurdities that often hide beneath the surface.
This podcast is an audacious journey where I hone my English skills, celebrate the intrigue of ancient history, acknowledge the intricacies of Brazilian society, and unleash the healing potential of sarcasm. It's about embracing who I am, unfiltered, and sharing MY (I REPEAT, MY) truths with the world.
