Oscar, My Dear, I Don’t Give a Damn is a film podcast hosted by Bethany and Crystal, two Black women with sharp minds, bold opinions, and a deep love for movies—especially the messy, political, and powerful ones that have won Best Picture at the Oscars.
Each week, they randomly select one Academy Award Best Picture winner to watch, unpack, and critique—from the classics to the questionable picks. Expect cultural context, spicy takes, historical side notes, and a lot of love for cinema that actually deserves it.
New episodes every Saturday, with live streams on Fridays at 12pm PT / 3pm ET. Because when it comes to the Oscars, sometimes we care—and sometimes… we don’t give a damn.
We’ve got a new name, a new format, and a fresh perspective. The Bomb DCOM is officially becoming Oscar, My Dear, I Don’t Give a Damn—a podcast where Bethany and Crystal explore every Best Picture winner in Academy Awards history.
Why the shift? We were ready for deeper, broader film conversations—and to bring a Black feminist lens to movies that have shaped (and sometimes failed) the culture.
We’re kicking things off with Chicago, one of our favorite winners. Each week, we’ll randomly select a new Best Picture film and dive into what made it Oscar-worthy—or not.
