[…] I'd like to take a few minutes now to reflect on the Bookmonger and offer a few final thoughts and thanks. We started this show in 2007, back when I took a call from my old friend and colleague Katherine Jean Lopez. Have you heard of podcasting, she asked. I replied with a yes because I'd read something about this brand new medium maybe a week before. So I'd heard about podcasting, but I didn't know much and I don't think I'd even heard a podcast at that point. Katherine said that National Review wanted to start a couple and did I have an idea.
