Truly embodying the title of America's Resort, The Greenbrier proudly served its country during World War II in multiple capacities. It first housed "enemy alien diplomats" from Germany, Japan and Italy and then served as an Army hospital, Ashford General Hospital, caring for wounded soldiers. During this episode, The Greenbrier's historian emeritus, Dr. Bob Conte, looks back at that time and the resort's unique service.

The Legacy of Frank Mosley
For more than six decades Frank Walker Mosley was a fixture at The Greenbrier, and he was loved by guests from around the world for his trademark red coat and glowing smile. Mosley passed away in April of 2023, but he left behind an incredible legacy at the resort he loved so much.
