Baylee lost her second pregnancy at 10 weeks. This personal devastation completely altered her perception of miscarriage, stillbirth and infant loss as she yearned for compassion and understanding. She created this podcast as Mrs. Utah America to serve as a resource of conversation and community. Butterflies have been symbolic for her in this journey which is why she chose the imagery of metamorphosis to organize the interview format: Caterpillar phase: what life was like before Chrysalis phase: the climax & ooey gooey mess of the loss Butterfly phase: the changes and beauty that have emerged
