Ep 91: Helminth (Parasitic Worm) Infections in Children

Today's video is a lecture Dr. Bee gave to pediatrics residents at Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University on September 4th. Dr. Bee discusses epidemiology, diagnosis, management and treatment of every major US and global worm parasite. Of course, everyone is welcome to enjoy the lecture but please note that this is a lecture to young doctors, so there is a lot of medical-ese and scientific jargon spoken! Still, there are plenty of interesting facts and photos to enjoy for the general viewer, and you get a glimpse of what resident education is like. Enjoy!

   Ep 90: Febrile Seizures

Febrile seizures, or seizures associated with fever, are very common. Dr. Bee covers everything you need to know about febrile seizures, including who gets them, what to do and NOT do for febrile seizures, when to call 911 and what a doctor will do about febrile seizures. The most common question - Will my child continue to have seizures? - is clearly addressed, and yes, it's good news. Take a look!
