Ep 11: The Spiritual Path to Profit — Unlocking Your Next Level Self with Kanika Vasudeva
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of stillbirth, grief, depression, and generational trauma. Please listen with care. What if you are not failing at your purpose? What if you are just carrying blocks that were never yours to begin with? I sit down with Kanika Vasudeva, energy expansion coach and Akashic Records reader, for a conversation that bridges the spiritual and the practical in the most powerful way. We talk about what the Akashic Records actually are, how inherited ancestral patterns can block your business growth, your visibility, and your self worth, what it means to live in 5D energy versus 3D survival mode, and how Kanika went from corporate engineer to energy healer after losing her daughter at 31 weeks. Whether you are building a business, searching for your purpose, or simply trying to understand why you keep hitting the same invisible walls, this episode will open your eyes to a whole new way of seeing your life. Ep 10: Demons, Patterns and Finding Sovereignty with Author Tina Djuretic
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of childhood religious abuse, physical and emotional abuse, addiction, exorcism, spiritual trauma, generational patterns, and toxic relationships. Please listen with care. What if the pain in your body was not just physical? What if your relationship patterns were not just bad luck? What if the trauma you carried was not even entirely yours? I sit down with Tina Djuretic, author of Finding My Sovereignty: Memoirs of an Empath, for one of the most extraordinary conversations this podcast has ever had. Tina grew up in a fanatical religious cult, witnessed a full exorcism at 12 years old, spent over a decade in a relationship with an addict, and carried unexplained back pain for four years before a Reiki healer in Bali told her she had been housing entities in her body since childhood. We talk about generational trauma, karmic relationships, the empath's curse of wanting to fix everyone, what it means to finally stand in your sovereignty, and the tools Tina used to heal what decades of therapy could not touch. This one is long. This one is deep. This one is worth every minute. Ep 09: The Chameleon's Game — Healing from Covert Narcissism with Kasia Dodd
Have you ever felt like someone mirrored you so perfectly it felt like fate? Like you finally found your other half? That feeling might be worth paying closer attention to. I sit down with Kasia Dodd, a clinical psychologist and author of The Chameleon's Game, who spent over a decade in a relationship with a covert narcissist. Even with her background in psychology, she found herself asking the same question so many of us ask. Why am I still here? We explore the difference between overt and covert narcissism, why even the most educated and self-aware people can fall into these relationships, the role of generational trauma and subconscious patterns, the inner parent theory and how it differs from the inner child, and somatic healing tools including EFT tapping and the Inherence Process. If you have ever been in a toxic relationship or are trying to understand why you keep choosing the same patterns, this conversation will change the way you see yourself. What does it actually take to walk away from a successful career when it is slowly killing your spirit? I sit down with my dear friend Darla Reed, who spent seven years as a mechanical insulator in a male-dominated construction union, eventually earning a seat on the executive board and becoming a foreman, general foreman, trustee, and instructor. And then she walked away from all of it. Ep 06: Wrong Time or Unhealed Trauma? Our Second Chance Love Story with My Wife
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of domestic violence, drug use, toxic relationships, mental health, and trauma. Please listen with care. Most love stories skip the messy middle. This one is the messy middle. In Episode 6 of The Camisha Blackburn Podcast, I am joined by my wife, Riley Blackburn, to share the full story of us. We met in 2018 at a dive bar in Columbus, both deep in our addictions and our unhealed wounds. We fell fast, burned bright, and fell apart by 2019. And then we spent five years doing the hard, individual work of actually healing ourselves. In this episode we talk about what our first relationship really looked like, the violence, the dishonesty, the drugs, the chaos. We talk about the five years apart and what it actually took to become people worthy of real love. We talk about the psychic who called it first. And we talk about what makes our marriage work today, the communication, the dynamic, the boundaries, and why we never let each other go to bed upset. This is not a perfect love story. It is a healed one. And that is so much better. Let's get rooted. Ready for Your Transformation? Ep 05: How I Ditched the Scale, Healed My Body Image, and Found What Actually Works
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of body image, bullying, drug use, birth control, and disordered relationships with food and exercise. Please listen with care. For years, I chased a number on the scale. I did the Pilates, I started cycle syncing, I tried to eat better — and I saw almost no results. Because I was still asking the wrong question. In Episode 5 of The Camisha Blackburn Podcast, I am sharing my full physical health journey — from being called Obisha in middle school, to losing dangerous amounts of weight during drug use, to going off birth control cold turkey and watching my hormones completely unravel, to finally finding a way of moving and eating that actually feels good in my body. This episode is not about weight loss. It is about coming home to your body. Understanding your cycle. Reading your ingredients. Moving with your hormones instead of against them. And finally asking the question that changes everything. How can I make my body feel safe, strong, and nourished today? Let's get rooted. Ready for Your Transformation? Ep 02: Unpacking the Root: Childhood Wounds, Self Worth, and Why I Chose Drugs
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and addiction. Please listen with care and reach out for support if you need it. Last episode we talked about the what. This episode we go deeper into the why. In Episode 2, we are unpacking the root — tracing the childhood wounds, the father wound, the mother wound, and the deep persistent feeling of not being enough that shaped every relationship and every decision I made for years. We are talking about how moving constantly, never feeling settled, and desperately chasing love and attention from anyone willing to give it created the perfect conditions for toxic relationships, self sabotage, and eventually substances. If you have ever found yourself stuck in the same patterns wondering why you keep choosing the wrong people or running from the right ones — this episode will help you understand why. Because those patterns are not accidental. They are learned. And if they are learned, they can be unlearned. Let's get integrated. Ready to commit to your own healing journey? Ep 01: Where It All Began — My Healing Journey Starts Here
Content note: This episode contains honest discussion of childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and addiction. Please listen with care and reach out for support if you need it. Every healing journey has a beginning. Mine started long before I ever picked up a supplement or changed my diet. It started in childhood, in the homes I grew up in, in the relationships I watched, in the pain I carried quietly for years. In this very first episode, I am pulling back the curtain on the real beginning of my story. We are talking about growing up on the west side of Columbus, moving constantly, being bullied, losing myself in toxic relationships, and eventually finding myself deep in a season of drinking, cocaine, and even meth — running from everything I did not want to feel. This episode is not polished. It is not pretty. But it is real. And if you have ever found yourself numbing out, losing yourself, or wondering how you got so far from who you really are — this one is for you. Let's get integrated.
