[…] When you see immigration as a top issue for likely voters, we're seeing Blakeman with an overwhelming lead. I thought that was very interesting because both candidates have tried to make affordability their issue, right? I mean, Bruce Blakeman talks about cutting utility bills in half and cutting income tax rates. But it seems from your polling that Hochul has resonated more with people who raised cost of living as a concern is that correct that is correct and we did see a change um from a month ago and i this also stood out to me because last month in the poll that we did in september we had which is unusual we had republicans democrats and independents all saying that the cost of living was their top issue which in this political environment is not very common If you take a look at the breakdowns in this poll, we're seeing that among Republicans, immigration is now the top issue for them, followed by crime, and followed by cost of living economy.
