   62. Why Do I Keep Repeating The Same Patterns?

Have you ever wondered why you keep repeating the same patterns, even when you genuinely want to change? You've set meaningful goals, built better habits, repeated affirmations, and promised yourself, "This time will be different." So why do some patterns keep returning? In this episode, we're taking a look under the hood—not to judge ourselves, but to get curious. We'll explore how underlying beliefs can quietly influence our choices, why willpower isn't always the answer, and how looking beneath the surface can lead to more lasting change. If you've ever found yourself asking, "Why do I keep doing this?" this conversation is for you. In this episode, you'll discover: • Why habits and discipline are important—but aren't always the whole story. • How underlying beliefs can shape your decisions without you realizing it. • A more compassionate way to understand recurring patterns. • Questions to help you look beneath the surface instead of simply trying harder. Whether you're working toward healthier relationships, greater confidence, better habits, or meaningful goals, this episode will encourage you to trade self-criticism for curiosity and consider what might be happening underneath. If today's conversation resonated with you, I have a free gift for you. Download my Back to You Guide using the link below. It's designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin noticing some of the patterns we've been talking about today. 61. Capacity for Delight

What if the quality of our lives has less to do with what happens to us...and more to do with our capacity for delight? In this episode of Catching Sunshine, I explore a beautiful phrase I recently came across that made me look at everyday life a little differently. Together we'll consider why some people seem to find delight almost everywhere they go, while others need life to be extraordinary before they're impressed. We'll talk about fresh eyes, lowered thresholds, ordinary moments, and the possibility that our capacity for delight isn't fixed—it can grow. I hope this conversation leaves you looking at the world just a little differently...and maybe noticing a little more delight along the way. 60. Creativity: You May Have More Than You Think

A recent conversation got my wheels turning about creativity and what it really means. In this episode, I'm sharing some reflections and questions that encouraged me to think about creativity in a broader way. Not just as something artists do, but as something that shows up in everyday life more often than we realize. If you've ever thought, "I'm just not a creative person," I hope this episode helps you recognize your own creativity in places you may not have noticed before.
