#225 The Challenge Unplugged with Jordan Wiseley: The Final Word | MTV's The Challenge

For our final episode ever, we sat down with one of the greatest competitors to ever step into The Challenge arena — Jordan Wiseley. This conversation is exactly what you’d expect from Jordan: honest, analytical, intense, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in accountability. We talk about what it actually takes to be great — not just on The Challenge, but in life — and why so many players (and people) fall short. Jordan breaks down: • What it really feels like to be a long-term reality TV competitor • Why being a “reality star” was never his goal • The difference between luck, skill, and preparation • Why some seasons and formats work and why others fail • How production decisions have quietly hurt the show • The biggest mistakes made on The Challenge 39 • Why too many twists ruin the game • How casting and competition structure shape outcomes • The problem with modern rookie casting • Why The Challenge used to feel better • What separates champions from everyone else We also get into Jordan’s mindset outside the show — including his views on discipline, growth, competition, racing, and what it means to build something that lasts beyond reality TV. He explains why certain environments push people forward while others hold them back, and how he applies those lessons to everything he does. This episode isn’t about nostalgia; it’s about standards. And it felt right to end this channel with someone who’s never lowered them. Thank you to everyone who supported The Challenge Fandom Podcast through every era, evolution, and version of this show. This conversation with Jordan Wiseley is our final episode and our final thank-you. #224 The Final Goodbye | Secrets, Tea and Tips To Our Success | MTV The Challenge

This episode isn’t an interview — it’s a reunion. All of the hosts from the past four years of The Challenge Fandom Podcast came together to reflect on how this whole thing started, the moments that defined us, and the friendships that grew along the way. From launching Facebook fan groups and turning them into a podcast, to cracking the code on guest outreach (including how we landed CT when no one else could), this is the story behind the show — told by the people who lived it. We talk about: • How and why the podcast actually started • The sneaky trick that got CT to say yes the first time • Building Facebook fan groups before CFP even existed • Inside jokes, lingo, and moments only longtime listeners know• Favorite interviews and unforgettable episodes • Meeting each other in Michigan for the first time in 2024 • How we’ve grown as hosts, friends, and people • What we learned about content, consistency, and community • What our next project looks like — and why expanding our reach is already paying off This episode is part of our “With That Being Said…” farewell series — a thank-you to the community that supported every era, pivot, and version of this podcast. If you’ve been here from the early Facebook days or found us along the way, this one’s for you. #223 The Challenge Unplugged with Chris "CT" Tamburello | MTV's The Challenge

This is not an interview. This is 2.5 hours hanging out in CT’s kitchen while he says exactly what’s been on his mind. For one of our final farewell episodes, we sat down with Chris “CT” Tamburello — the GOAT of The Challenge — and from the second the recording started, it turned into an unfiltered, no-intro, no-outro, no-rules rant about the state of the show, the direction it’s heading, and why he’s feeling disconnected from the modern era of The Challenge. CT goes off on The Challenge 41, the newer rookies, casting decisions, alliance structures, and why he’s actively looking to move on to other reality TV opportunities. We talk about how casting works behind the scenes, how MTV has changed its approach to educating viewers on serious topics like addiction, homophobia, and racism, and why the game just doesn’t feel the same anymore. At one point, CT even surprises us with a “guest” — Jozea — which somehow leads to an entirely separate conversation about representation, friendships that make zero sense, and how different players actually get selected for seasons. Topics include: • CT’s raw thoughts on The Challenge 41 • Why he’s frustrated with the new rookies • The evolution (and problems) of modern casting • How MTV approaches social issues on the show • Why the OG era felt different • Reality TV beyond The Challenge • And 2.5 hours of classic CT venting, storytelling, and chaos This episode is part of our “With That Being Said…” farewell playlist — a thank-you to Challenge fans who’ve supported us through every era of this podcast. If you’ve ever wanted to just sit back and listen to CT talk without filters, structure, or PR polish… this one’s for you. No questions. No script. Just CT. Two more episodes before we're officially shut down so make sure you follow along and don't miss the end of our final farewell run!
